It looks like she could have cut out a piece of paper with the letters on it, scanned it onto her computer, then posted it.
That's my guess anyway.

Close, BJObsessed, but not quite! I found this chart by googling "American Sign Language Alphabet. I downloaded it, brought it into photoshop and trimmed out each letter, making three separate banners, to spell out "Happy Birthday Shmeep." I had to cut out and bring each letter in one at a time, size it, jpeg it, then upload the banners to Photobucket and voila - what I was hoping would be a very unique way to Happy Birthday!

That's an awful lot of trouble. Thanks for doing that for me. At first I thought it would have been easy enough to get something pre-made for "Happy" and "Birthday," but when I saw the "Shmeep" I knew you had to have customized it for me. Unless there are other Shmeeps out there who like seeing their names spelled out in the manual alphabet. Unlikely. So...once more...THANK YOU!

I've seen those ASL fonts before. Very cool, although Longlashes would still have needed to put it in a seperate document and copy it over here as a photo because this board doesn't recognize other fonts. And Croation? Cherokee? That's all new to me. All very interesting, of course. I love how flipping someone off here in America is the sign for "brother" in Japan and how the letter "t" here is unspeakably rude in Japan. You have to be very careful when you're signing in other countries.

Yeah, you just type it out as text in a photo program, and then import it as a photo all in one piece. That's how I do my braille stuff.
That site had all kinds of cool fonts and language programs.
