CABLE ALERT!!!Inuvik, start bugging your friends with cable and either TiVo or a working VCR -- On Christmas Eve Turner Classic Movies is re-running The Bishop's Wife at 8:00 p.m. EST. I am happy to say that the CBC ran it at midnight on Boxing Day, so I recorded it and watched it. Yay!  |

I am happy to say that the CBC ran it at midnight on Boxing Day, so I recorded it and watched it. Yay! I am even happier to say that last weekend, I found The Bishop's Wife on DVD in a drugstore for only $10! Now I can watch it every year! I popped it in right away and cried over the ending. I think that this isn't more popular because it does have overt religious and church sentiment all through it. I'm just thrilled it was popular enough to get a DVD release. |
