I know most of you don't really watch Desperate Housewives. That's fine. Not for everyone. It's a guilty pleasure of mine because I like to mock it with The Boy, but it isn't nearly as good this year. Well, last night's episode had two different storylines filmed at The Sportsman's Lodge in Studio City. My wedding reception was held there. And then my friend had hers there. And then my brother did as well. So we were very excited to see it. The wedding rehearsal scene was filmed on one of these bridges: and then when George wigged out and stole the Porshe of the guy who used to date Bree in college, the valet parking was shot at the front of the establishmemt. I couldn't find an image of this area, but, true to any Google image search, I was able to find this: Our reception was over here in the garden area: And, not to namedrop, but we know this swan personally: (Well...that's possible. We did like to lurk around the swans and this one COULD have been there.)

Hey!!! Isn't this the same outdoor restaurant that Ron's character meets his dad for lunch in Father's & Sons? The bridge looks familiar...

I don't think so, although I'd have to take a look at Fathers and Sons again to be sure. I remember that place being a lot more...Hollywood, if that makes any sense. Also, although The Sportsman's Lodge does have patio seating, these tables are actually indoors and you're looking at the bridge and waterfall through huge windows.
