Jim's Nervous Gestures?

We all know Jim's "tell" of removing and putting on his sunglasses but I was wondering if you could classify another gesture or two of his as "nervous" ones.

Number One-what I call the "jaw rub". I noticed he did it on Seoul Man when Karen pressed him on his feelings about letting the perp get by him. He was forced to admit that he was "messed up about it" and then rubbed his jaw. I recalled that he did the same thing in Past Imperfect after Karen told them that Nick had just called and dumped her. Jim knew his little talk with Nick that morning was the root cause of it though he was surprised that Nick decided to drop Karen rather than come clean. He did it again in Under the Gun when the IA guy came in to talk to Fisk. He was certain it was about him and when it turned out Fisk had blocked the guy in, Jim gave a forced laugh and rubbed his jaw. This seems to be a nervous gesture--he is under stress(UTG and SM) or is caught in a lie(PI).

Number Two-The "Neck Crack"-- I am sure we all consider this one a nervous gesture and again caused by stressful situation such as when Christie confronted him about the Nick and Karen business in In Your Face and in Dance with Me when Christie told him she had already signed them up for dance classes. Does this only happen around her???

Number Three--maybe the "lip bite" in certain situation. This seems to be a multipurpose gesture since he also does it while thinking. An example of it being what I consider a nervous gesture is in Four Feet Under when he and Christie are arguing after getting home after Clay's dinner party--stress big time!!

Thoughts? Other examples?

He sure does have a lot of little "tells," doesn't he?

My personal favorite is when he puffs out his cheeks. This isn't really a nervous mannerism, but seems to be one that happens either when he's relieved after having been nervous:



Or when he's (perhaps sarcastically?) reacting to something shocking ("Women shoot guys all the time."):

Also the clenching and unclenching of his fists. I believe the first time he does it is after he knows Karen is safe from Randy Lyman in the pilot. Many times throughout the rest of the series he does it when he is under a lot of stress.

Another one is drumming his fingers on the table, as he did when Artie asked him to talk to Pete in "Dance with Me":

Also when he was fidgeting with that pencil when he and Karen were interviewing Rudy in Doggone. I expected that pencil to either snap in two or go flying!

Jim does his cheek puff in the Pilot at the scene of Lynn Bodner's murder. He just got Karen to see his point and just had to tell Fisk that they didn't think she was part of the pattern even though he thought she was put didn't want any more "punk ass cases"
