I have to agree, the deleted scenes--wow. Privy to secret information The bit about Jim and every woman in the 2-5--makes me want to re-evaluate his character. I figured, since we only heard about Anne, and Karen just dropped the topic after the first eppie, that she was it. If I hadn't already made Jim swear it was only Anne in my fic, I'd change it up right now, see what I thought of the new juicy tidbit... You know how these things might get blown out of proportion. I wonder if that exchange was an example of that. Just Anne could turn into every woman in the 2-5 via the grapevine. That is how I want to look at it anyway.

Just don't ever disagree with ME!!! BWAHHHH!!! What an interesting thread this is turning out to be! And Mouse, I just gave you karma because I'm growing a little frightened of you and I want to stay on your good side. Did I butter you up enough? I am really not all that intimidating in person. I am sure that "she who must be obeyed" could take me, but I'll take the karma anyway I can get it.

I expect she's been fully aware of this board since its creation. Kyt Do you know this or is it just a guess? I was in contact with her not too long ago and played dumb and she really didn't seem to know--unless she was just playing dumb too and trying to get me to say something. She told me that the discussion on all the boards had petered out and implied that Blind Justifications suddenly died because she had stopped posting on it. Obviously none of us could possibly have anything to say without her guidance, right? She seemed oblivious that everyone had come over here and that you all have been posting merrily away ever since. Hmm...in the beginning, I always suspected that she knew about us and was here under another name or something, but now I kind of think she doesn't know. Very interesting! For the record, she DOES know about the board but will not join a "group of unintelligent people who can't even argue with substantiality...." Sorry, I like you all very much, but I'm a straight-from-the-hip shooter. She has alienated my friends (who are here) and apparently has done some horrors to some of you, too (who I'm so glad I'm getting to know). Anyone who has to boast about his or her intelligence level shows me how simple that person really is. kenina told me about this board (karma for you! Once I figure it out!!) and I'm so glad I came over to meet new people and hang with my already established friends. What the other two have to say are simply the nonsensical ravings of lunatic minds (a favorite line of mine - who can name the movie?). Anyway, that's the truth - glad you're all away, as I am, too.

Here's what I love. Finding out that I'm mentioned on someone's livejournal - oh, evil that I am - citing not only the alleged stress and pain I caused her, but that she's glad the frienship is over. THEN has the NERVE to laugh that Freedomland has been kicked back to February. So, we have "She Who Must Be Obeyed" and I add to that, her CWPF, "She Who Has No Life"! This loony bird has a live journal? Spill, spill spill! Give us the link, Mrs. E! Oh, Jeez. And here I thought I was going to be a good little girl and be polite and circumspect. Hah! PS. What does CWPF mean? I'll do it if ya'll really want it! I don't care. CWPF means close, warm, personal friend, which is what they've become. FABULOUS!

Karma to you, Barb for that comment. Those Who Must Not be Named can just play in their own sandbox. I'd rather they didn't come over and dump in ours.

I bought some bits of the Fancy Footwork script when they were available on Showfax. Anna, how did this reference slip by me?! What is Showfax, and how did one buy "bits of" a script? Very curious about this, and also, admittedly, trying to get back on track here. Final comment? "Group of unintelligent people" we most definitely are not . . . but the use of the word argue rather than discuss proves my point. In an argument someone must win. A discussion is infinitely kinder and, ultimately, more interesting, as there is no fear of recrimination. So let's discuss away . . . And tell me about that Showfax thing, please!

I bought some bits of the Fancy Footwork script when they were available on Showfax. Anna, how did this reference slip by me?! What is Showfax, and how did one buy "bits of" a script? Someone in the Yahoo group told me how to do this. Showfax is a resource for actors. One thing actors can do is buy parts of scripts if they want to try to be cast for guest roles. However, they let anyone (like you or me) buy, even if you are not a registered member. You purchase by the page. You are only buying the pages that supply the lines for certain actors, but you also get parts of other dialogue that happen to appear on those pages. In other words, you are not buying an entire script, but the more guest roles you are able to buy, the more of the script you end up with. The site is here www.showfax.com/So, when I wanted to see if any of Blind Justice was still available - this was after I had reached my fanatic stage - I clicked Los Angeles and then Episodic and found that three of the guest roles in Fancy Footwork were still available - Bo, the nephew, and the neighbor. You buy on line, and they e-mail PDFs of the pages you order. I wish I had become fanatical much earlier; I would have been able to buy more.

Everyone on this Board has been getting along just fine. No personal attacks. We just have intelligent conversation. We're here to have fun and break from the everyday, hectic business. It's relaxing for me to read the FanFics, read the posts and sometimes reply and add my (not serious) fun comments. I look forward to the Tues chat. I expect this Board to last a long time. It is beyond just the show. It's a get-together. I'm glad to be a part of it.
Hey! Since everyone is throwing Karma around like it's candy, "Where's mine?" Later, Carl

This came from the scene in The Pilot where Jim and Karen are in the car and she hits him with Anne Donnelly. The deleted line of Karen’s was – and oh, baby, what a line! -- "Not only Anne. I hear you were banging every woman in the 2-5," which was followed by Jim's line about how he'd been going through a bad time in his marriage, etc. Stronger stuff than we got on the air, wouldn't you say? I remember reading and article/interview about the show a long time ago (maybe march march or april?) in which Ron Eldard said something about sugesting that something be removed from the pilot or that the audiance would hate Dunbar. Does anyone else remember reading this?

It was the scene where he pulled the gun on the guy who knocked Karen down.
Your man Ron thought there should be no shadowy person being seen from Dunbar's perspective. He thought it would give a not so realistic feel in the show or something like that and it would probably not do anything good for the show. Where it was said or written, not sure.
It was disagreement between a "director" and the "actor." Of, course, the actor didn't know any better. The director won, nuff said.
Later, Carl

I remember reading and article/interview about the show a long time ago (maybe march march or april?) in which Ron Eldard said something about sugesting that something be removed from the pilot or that the audiance would hate Dunbar. Does anyone else remember reading this? I seem to remember an article on the show that was on the Zapit site, in which RE talked about an action of Christie's being changed -- maybe not in The Pilot but in one of the earlier episodes -- that, had it stayed as written, would have made the audience hate her. Maybe originally she walked out on Jim at the end of "Four Feet Under" and he was left on the park bench in the rain alone? Maybe she was even nastier to him in the dinner scene in The Pilot? (Hard to imagine.) At any rate, I think the character of Dunbar was so sympathetically established in The Pilot that not even the deleted line about "banging every woman in the Two-Five" would have made the audience hate him. So I vote for the Christie thing, but does anyone remember or have access to the exact quote?
