+ Dr. Taylor for allowing Jim the opportunity to "see" things clearly with his hands - Meg Wheeler for drinking cheap scotch, listening to the television a little too loud and forgetting to clean out the cat box
19 - Kim Chenowith 16 - Lester 16 - Vince Postiglione 13 - Annie Jansen 12 - Dr. Taylor 11 - Don Yun 10- Mark Watt 3 - Jeff Dorsey
ByeBye Meg!
#1) Charlotte Smalls #2) Meg Wheeler
Having taken one of those 10:00 a.m. naps she had grown so accustomed to, downing a few glasses of cheap scotch before the start of Young and Restless, and following it up with the bliss of a booze induced sleep, Meg wakes and realizes that she is much too late to start dinner. In a panic she thinks, "If I don't get dinner on the table, Vic is going to be so mad....but it's late....he'll be here any minute." Grabbing her crucifix she prays for an answer! And gets it......"Oh, if I add some oil to the pan and turn up the heat, dinner will be ready in no time!" Reaching into the cupboard for the Mazola, she accidentally pulls the bottle of "My It's Hot" fire accelerant and generously floods the pan. It isn't too long before Meg, like her dinner, is very well done!

Glad to be in such good company! As to what went on in the subway, you're right "We both know what happened that day" at least on my end. I can't, however, say the same for you! "Whatever went on with you and the other detectives, that's none of our business!" (Congratulations Karma Whore! You have been busy in more ways than one!) He does wear that hat well, though, doesn't he? LongLashes

I'm not in the running for Serial Killer of the Year. However, I could run for the Hiring the Most Hitmen of the Year award. Whatya think?
Lori; are you for hire?
Later, Carl

Lori and Mary - your recent killings have "inspired" me to come out of retirement. That plus for me it's easier to kill the characters that you don't like than ones that you do.
Dr Taylor + for finding the signs of abuse in Ben Crider Jeff Dorsey - for thinking that killing Korean grocers would resolve his issues about what happened to him in that bar fight in Korea
19 - Kim Chenowith 18 - Lester 16 - Vince Postiglione 13 - Annie Jansen 13 - Dr. Taylor 11 - Don Yun 10- Mark Watt 1 - Meg Wheeler 0 - Jeff Dorsey
#1) Charlotte Smalls #2) Meg Wheeler #3) Jeff Dorsey It is an evening in late January in NYC and the city is in the midst of a Nor’easter. NYC is having heavy rain and winds, but in upstate New York where the Niagra Power Plant is, a blizzard is raging. The heavy snow and winds cause high tension wires that carry power to the northeast grid to go down. Jim, Marty and Tom are still at work. Jeff Dorsey has been identified as the person who was killing the Korean grocers. Marty is taking him to central booking just as all of the lights go out in New York City. With Marty caught off guard, Jeff quickly bolts away from him. The 8th does not have a backup generator and for some reason, the one emergency light out by the elevator is not working. Jim is still there and hears the commotion, but has no idea why everyone seems to be in a state of confusion. Ahhh, he deduces from what he is hearing, the power is out. Everyone is playing by Jim’s rules now. He stands quietly and assesses what he can hear. He hears Tom still sitting at his desk and rummaging for a flashlight. Marty is running into furniture and walls; cursing as he tries to follow Dorsey. Jim hearing the sound of two people heading in his direction from the area where the elevator is positions himself in front of them. Marty seems to be the more distant of the two. He’s yelling for Dorsey to stop. As they come through the gate and into the squad, Jim – sensing exactly where Dorsey is from his footsteps – throws his shoulder into Jeff’s sternum, sending him flying back towards Marty. Marty, though now blinded by the lack of electricity, has drawn his weapon. When Jeff stumbles back against Marty, they fall and the gun discharges. Bye bye, Jeff. And Marty – what are you doin’ pulling your weapon when you can’t see???

Ah and still another serial killer emerges from the shadows. You have quite a few notches on your belt, too, Kathy. I hope we get a triple cell in Attica, so you too can ask Lori over and over again "What was it like when you met him Lori...huh?...huh?"
Vince Postiglione- "The fight was your fault detective". I don't think so Vince, unless standing up for your wife's honor is a crime.
Don Yun+ "I love that dog, man" Me too Don.

Kathy, your coming out of retirement was worth it - very creative off - and touche for Jim - What are you doing drawing your gun when you can't see? And now we have some work to do because there's a long way to go before we have another one ripe for the picking!
So, here is my first for the day:
- Kim Chenowith - for allowing her boss to send her on personal errands like that in the first place! Stand up for yourself girl! + Don Yun - for still speaking with truth and pride about his family inspite of the fact they have lost face in the whole community
18- Kim Chenowith 18- Lester 15 - Vince Postiglione 13 - Annie Jansen 13 - Dr. Taylor 13 - Don Yun 10- Mark Watt

+ Lester, for not patronizing Jim. (Have I already said that? - Dr. Taylor, for making Jim leave Hank outside. He is a very well behaved pooch and would not have disturbed anything in her precious little lab.

May I just take a moment to say that this is one tough little game. It is easy to come up with the negatives but it is so very hard, and getting harder, to think of anything positive to say about these characters that hasn't been said before. That said, here is my second for today:
- Mark Watt - for still allowing himself to be a marionette for a guy locked up in Attica - Leonard Mattis said "Visit him!" so he did! + Annie Jansen, for giving Terry and Jimmy some privacy and the space to talk
19- Lester 18 - Kim Chenowith 15 - Vince Postiglione 13 - Dr. Taylor 13 - Annie Jansen 13 - Don Yun 8 - Mark Watt
And the recent dearly departed:
#1) Charlotte Smalls #2) Meg Wheeler #3) Jeff Dorsey
