Dr. Alan Galloway--for those chairs that remind me of Capt. Kirk's chair on the Starship Enterprise. Does the good dr. harbor a little fantasty of his own? And why chose chairs that make you seem like you are practically on the floor? How low can you go???Talk about adding insult to injury! Detective Jim Dunbar+for not being perfect, for still having issues, an attitude and for still being somewhat on the defensive. In other words, being a real human being. Christie Dunbar--for not only not locking the door but even forgetting to close it behind you.

-- Karen for laughing when the lieutenant drags the new blind dude into her file trolley (if she was observant like a real detective she would have noticed Jim didn't stumble but was led into it.) and on his FIRST DAY! Cow. --Marty for picking on Jim's evidence, assuming he had withheld ( OK good acting on Jims part I know) but doing this after Jim drags a full confession, including MORE BODIES, out of a guy they have put hundreds of hours into searching for. + Jim Dunbar for using his excuse and cuffing Lyman to set the tone for the interview without regard Detective Tom Selway - 16 Lt. Gary Fisk - 16 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Detective Jim Dunbar - 15 Detective Marty Russo - 8 Christie Dunbar - 9 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 6

Time for a quickie before coffee break's over. Hmmm, let's see.
Detective Karen Bettancourt + + (For the clean shiny hair and those crisply ironed shirts.)
Detective Tom Selway - - (For all the times he merely rolled his eyes at Russo's hoof-in-mouth remarks instead of saying something. The big wuss.)
Detective Jim Dunbar + (For hauling your tasty self out of bed and making coffee in the morning instead of waiting for the woman to do it.)

The Fashion Edition:
Jim Dunbar -- for going out in the rain without an umbrella. You'll catch your death that way!
Christie Dunbar + for making sure Jimbo is dressed to the nines, making everybody wonder how the blind dude does it. Remember it is better to look good than to feel good!
Tom Selway -- for needing garanimals. Puleeze! It's understandable the blind guy doesn't know Tom needs a stylist, but there's no excuse the others can't tell him!

Detective Karen Bettencourt++for her offer to draw Jim a picture of the wound on Nancy Dresslar's face. It showed that she was accepting him as her partner, not necessarily as her 'blind' partner. Detective Marty Russo++for offering to help Jim look for Hank after a long hard day. We all know it was because he felt bad about losing the two of them in the first place (heaven forbid he would admit that he was doing it out of the goodness of his heart, must conserve that macho image at all costs!) but the gesture was appreciated. Too bad they decided to cut that scene! Lt. Gary Fisk--for constantly asking Jim if he was 'sure about this'. If he was sure, the bad guy would be in lockup! And loved Jim's comeback to him in 'pretty damn sure' and the look on Fisk's face in response.

Hoosier, honey sweetie darling? You need to get a copy of Strunk & White's The Elements of Style and look up the section on run-on sentences! ;D But I do love your passion, so there's karma coming your way.

+ Jim Dunbar for being thoughtful enough to turn all the lights on in the apartment when you got home first so Christie wouldn't walk into a dark home. + Detective Tom Selway for doing one of the best chicken impressions I have ever seen - next to the ceramic ones in Christie's kitchen that is. - Lieutenant Gary Fisk for being more interested in confronting what remained of that sandwich than confronting the issue that seemed to be putting a wedge between Jim and Karen. + Detective Jim Dunbar for knowing what a doppleganger is without having to ask the lady Llibrarian (who doesn't like it one little bit) where the latest edition of Miriam Webster's dictionary might be filed. - Detective Karen Bettancourt for questioning Jim about a lot of things, but never how his hair went from dirty blond to platinum seemingly overnight! - Marty Russo for not pushing harder to play the "blind guy" - if you have the dark glasses and the dog, how would anyone, including the Latin gentlemens, even know that you weren't blind? I'm with you LL, it always seemed strange to me that it would be Jim saying it wont look right. Maybe Karen, who has had a chance to watch Jim a bit, but Jim? Misassigned dialogue I reckon.

You called it, longlashes! I mean, will you look at these two? Maybe Karen was too worried about her split end problem (which she solved by the end of the thirteen episodes) to even notice Jim's hair!

I always thought Jim was right. If someone did a quick fakeout punch in Marty's face, would he be able to avoid wincing or ducking? What if, with an unexpected gunshot or something, Marty involuntarily looked to the source of the sound? I can see how Jim would be skeptical. You don't want to blow cover.

I know there is no way I could stop myself from flinching or looking even if my life depended on it. I know cops are trained for all types of situations, but I bet they're never trained for this one! Considering all the time RE put into getting ready for the role, I think it would be difficult for Marty to pretend for a few minutes.
