Detective Marty Russo--for deservedly earning that rep from Fisk. I guess the opportunity to get one more dig into Jim was just too hard to resist! Detective Tom Selway++for having his partner's back and not telling anyone that Marty had lost the perp. Detective Jim Dunbar+for learning his lesson and not rising to the bait offered by Marty.
Detective Tom Selway - 18 Detective Jim Dunbar - 13 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Christie Dunbar - 12 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 10 Detective Marty Russo-8

I'm with you LL, it always seemed strange to me that it would be Jim saying it wont look right. Maybe Karen, who has had a chance to watch Jim a bit, but Jim? Misassigned dialogue I reckon. I always thought Jim was right. If someone did a quick fakeout punch in Marty's face, would he be able to avoid wincing or ducking? What if, with an unexpected gunshot or something, Marty involuntarily looked to the source of the sound? I can see how Jim would be skeptical. You don't want to blow cover. Alright, OK. But we're on the same page right?

-- Karen for cutting short that interview without any reference to Jim, unprofessional, rude and leaving him looking weak. (Albeit gorgeous) --Christie for leaving Jim alone at Clay's soiree - even ten minutes can feel like an age in a room full of strangers with your lights off. And if shehad ANY doubts he was ready she should have stuck to him like glue. -Marty for insinuating that Jim digging up the dead dog allowed Ben Crider to be murdered - Marty for outright saying Jim endangered Ben's life, ( while marty wasoff trying to nail the closest as easiest target instead of looking for who really did it.) Detective Tom Selway - 18 Detective Jim Dunbar - 13 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Christie Dunbar - 10 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 8 Detective Marty Russo-6

It's official. We're stuck on the old game. Are we done here? Yeah. We've said all that can be said about such minor characters as Walter Clark and Artie (the hygenically challenged) Steckle. So just for Auld Lang Syne -- and the sheer hell of it -- let's give it one last shot with ONLY the major characters. And no pouring sweetness and light and maple syrup all over Jim Dunbar, for crying out loud. Please. Let's be snarky. Let's be salty. The admins will be awarding daily karma for the most creative, sarcastic, or purely amusing post. ;D Once again, here's how we start: Detective Jim Dunbar - 15 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 15 Christie Dunbar - 15 Dr. Alan Galloway - 15 Lt. Gary Fisk - 15 Detective Tom Selway - 15 And here's the deal: You can play three times a day, and, as before, play with three characters. You can either plus or minus the characters 2 points with every play . . . with one exception. You can minus Jim two points but you can only plus him one point. It's all about at least the semblance of a level playing field. First character to reach 100 points? Game over. The end. Finis. Questions 1) Does it HAVE to be the last one? I really like these games! And I can understand this one finally. 2) I getthat I can post three in a day, do I have to wait while others post in between. This would be best but very few people are even awake when I post, Would it be stinky for me to post 3 times in a row? ;D Ashatan

I seem to recall that other people have posted three times in a row in past games. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

- Detective Jim Dunbar for being worried about letting your wife go to Smarmy Clay's party on her own - were you feeling a little insecure and wondering if you let her go whether she might do to you what you had already done to her? + Detective Marty Russo - thank God you have normal size feet cause if your feet were the size of Jim Dunbar's, can you imagine what it would have felt like to "put your foot in your mouth" as many times as you did? - Christie Dunbar for waking up with perfect make-up. (You know I've tried going to bed with the full face on and I certainly don't wake up with everything still in place - oh, yeah, but you also have hair that doesn't get wet in the pouring rain!) Detective Tom Selway - 18 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Detective Jim Dunbar - 11 Christie Dunbar - 10 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 8 Detective Marty Russo-8

(sorry, I am just looking for karma) Actually, Mary, even though "Joan" is smiling and therefore its questionable as to whether its really her, this did make me laugh - so karma!

+ Detective Jim Dunbar because I remember how I used to enjoy watching my Daddy shave when I was a little girl but you made the mundane task of shaving an artform with the precision and grace of those hands. - Christie Dunbar because you don't seem to be able to match much of anything, including casual wear for a relaxing evening at home with your husband. (We know he can't see, but please, honey, that same old shade of blue in an ill-fitting sweater, baggy, wrinkled pajama bottoms and white socks? Stacey, Clinton, I think we have a new candidate!) - Detective Karen Bettancourt for letting Marty get under your skin enough that you would wonder in your out loud voice whether your new partner is on the job just to prove that he can still do it? And, if that's really all this is about, leaving you behind as collateral damage? Seriously, after the year he's had, you think that's really all there is to it? Detective Tom Selway - 18 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Detective Jim Dunbar - 12 Christie Dunbar - 8 Detective Marty Russo-8 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 6

Detective Jim Dunbar+for trying to leap tall unseen buildings in a single bound...and failing spectacularly. Still, you must be given an A for effort. (imagine the scene from Doggone ) Christie Dunbar++for being the perfect fantasy wife Detective Karen Bettencourt--for the stern looks and eye rolls you gave Marty instead of speaking up. Detective Tom Selway - 18 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Detective Jim Dunbar - 12 Christie Dunbar - 12 Detective Marty Russo-8 Detective Karen Bettencourt-6

Detective Marty Russo--obviously you will never learn that if you bait the bear long enough, the bear will bite back. Dr.Alan Galloway--for changing chairs in mid-session and throwing off Jim's train of thought. Maybe a stop by the local drugstore after work was in order! Detective Tom Selway++for your stubtle effort to freshen the air in the interrogation room by offering some suspects a stick of gum.
Detective Tom Selway - 20 Dr. Alan Galloway - 12 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Detective Jim Dunbar - 12 Christie Dunbar - 12 Detective Marty Russo-6 Detective Karen Bettencourt-6[/quote]

Hoosier -- you and I posted within minutes of each other - the numbers are a little off - so here's an attempted correction to make sure everyone has the right score:
Detective Tom Selway - 20 Detective Jim Dunbar - 13 Dr. Alan Galloway - 12 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Christie Dunbar - 10 Detective Marty Russo- 6 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 4
Can someone please double check these numbers? Is it really possible that Karen might be the first go to?

Detective Jim Dunbar + Even when being attacked by reporters, he was in tune with his dog's welfare. He told reporters to "watch the dog" after hearing a little yelp from his four-legged friend.
Detective Karen Bettencourt ++ for sticking up for Jim after only a couple of days. "He stopped me from getting killed."
Detective Marty Russo -- for assuming that Jim witheld evidence without even asking him about it first
Detective Tom Selway - 18 Dr. Alan Galloway - 14 Detective Jim Dunbar - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 12 Christie Dunbar - 12 Detective Karen Bettencourt-6 Detective Marty Russo-6
