So happy to hear that you had a great day! Knew you would! Thinking about the four of us, sharing a cell at OnePP - with a good deck of cards and Levains - inspired me, I guess!
Four beds we will need in that cell if you please! We'll all bring our parkas in case there's a breeze. Lay those cards on the table, We're ready and able, It seems we four share an addictive disease!
I'll take two of those Jimmy's and raise you just one, There'll be no stopping us once the game has begun. No, we don't want bail, We'll stay here in jail, With 3 friends who will make it such fun!
We know Levains will deliver their goods any day. If we have Jimmy and cookies, we're here to stay. But I will want out, And you too, no doubt, If we hear that Ron Eldard is back on Broadway!!

The Latin gentlemens left Jim and took Hank, His eyes since that day at the bank. Jim stumbled and fell, His frustrations to yell. Without him, his confidence sank."I don't think I can do it," he said, Regret in his voice, his heart full of dread. But the ring of the phone, Meant that Hank would come home. Fears Jim suppressed in that moment fled.No consequence to the late hour, Anticipation that nothing would sour. Finally, voice full of joy, Jim grinned, “Hankie, good boy!” His reward a “so glad you're here” shower.

Marty never seemed to miss an opportunity to fight With Jim, irrelevant it seemed whether wrong or right. Was it petty jealousy? Or perhaps that Jim would be Ten times the detective he ever would - even without sight. In retrospect, perhaps it was rooted much deeper in That ego thing that males have, much to our chagrin. Now you don't have to agree, But it would appear to me That Marty knew at the end of the day Jim was just better lookin! Edited to add Marty's screencap.

The guys in the squad were playing hangman And Jimmy wrote down, " YOU'RE STILL MY MAN." But his series of dots Had them all seeing spots So they made up excuses and just turned and ran.

Oh my Gosh, how long since I limericked? Here's a quickie, from Jim's POV: You lost me? How could you, you jerk! A blind coke dealer ain't gonna work. Sonny’s now who I thank For losing my Hank? Lemme at 'em -- it's a detective's perk!

Since all the great new limericks seem to be in the Diggers thread (Heh!) I thought I'd try a little revival here. I don't have anything really new*, but I came across the draft for this in a drawer this afternoon and thought, "No, that's not quite what I wanted to say." Edit, edit, edit. My desk is a huge vintage old thing with a broad middle drawer into which you can shove stuff into for about a year before it sticks, and it's full of old Beyond Justice papers including recaps, limericks, innumerable posts about "Up on the Roof," and drafts of Out of the Past. (Note to self: Must clean out that drawer. If I'm ever squished by a semi on I-95 my relatives will take one look and say, "What . . . ?") Hey, twiddling and tweaking gave me the chance to include the screencaps I was too rushed to include when first I posted this.** Once his partner, his back-up, his friend . . . Jimmy wonders how it will all end. How did they come to this bitterness? Gone the bliss of the past. This rift no one can mend.It all began on a bright street split by gunfire, where one man would meet destiny's tragic hand, the death of faith, and a fate cold and relentless as sleet. So he waits, sadly grasping a sliver of hope that Terry will deliver the truth. But he's on to the lies. Trust is gone. Time stands still . . . as onward flows the river. *Okay, I do have a new opus but I'm saving it for the night before Thanksgiving, when we're all sneaking away from the kitchen to go on-line and feeling sentimental. **Longlashes, darlin', I have been through the Pilot folder of the Beyond Justice photobucket account numerous times and still cannot find the cap of the bullet scoring Jimmy's temple, so I copied it from the previous thread where you posted it. What am I missing?

What am I missing? No, I'm not LL, but I did find the picture. It's not in the pilot album. It's on the opening page of our photobucket account (underneath the list of albums). It's on page 2.

Thanks, BJO -- you are ever vigilant. Now I know where to find it should the need arise again. And it probably will, since we are never "done here" with The Pilot.
