I'm more than happy to start playing again when you figure it all out. I didn't play much before because I was having too much trouble minusing moments. (Big surprise, I know)

I still think I am confused on this. If I just reshuffle this list, and then someone else reshuffles, I don't see how we come up with the top moment, unless someone , shmeep perhaps, looks over all the lists and sees which ones are on top. Must be a better way. How about if we just post a symbol next to three moments, and the one with the most symbols ,by say, tomorrow at noon is the winning moment. And we can only vote twice, once today and once tomorrow. Just a thought. In case this is allowed , then I just posted symbols (I tried star but it seemed too small, so I thought the number symbol seemed good.) If not a good idea, I'll remove them. But it's a whole lot easier than rewriting the list. I agree with Mary. I am just too lazy to re-arrange the entire list! And it seems like it would make lots of work for the person who is going to tally the results. Her method of casting a vote seems okay to me.

Well, if everyone just posts their favorite order, you only have to rearrange the list once. Never mind . . . favorite lines from Moonstruck: What's the matter, Pop? I'm confused.I say we call a halt and let The Mighty Shmeep sort this all out on Monday.

I'm confused.I say we call a halt and let The Mighty Shmeep sort this all out on Monday. I only have a moment, but...eeek! I think I wasn't very clear. I never said anyone had to do anything so complicated as coming up with a new list each time. I just meant that instead of having points, you just bump two moments up one space or down one space in a turn and that would make the list have a new order. This way nothing is added and nothing is eliminated, but the order will change slightly with each turn (which isn't any more complicated than what we were doing before, only now there isn't a score) and I thought the list would eventually start to take on everyone's agreed-upon order of favorites. If your favorite moment is at the bottom, you can start to bump it up a spot each move and if one you hate is at the top you can do your part to try to make it go lower. That's the general idea. Nothing complex. This way is actually a lot simpler than the old way and I think it's more fun because you don't have to come up with reasons to dislike any of the moments we all love if you don't want to. Does this make any sense? If this doesn't seem like fun or of you want to go back the old way or if you have a better idea, we're wide open to suggestion. I was thinking of this particular round as an experiment to see if it was at all interesting to anyone. That's all. If this doesn't make sense by Monday, we'll have to think of something better to do with this game.

Sorry about all the confusion, guys!
Here's what I'd like to try. We'll start off by adding the two important moments that were previously missed. I don’t care if that takes the list over the limit. Those are good moments.
The only fair way to organize the list is to start with it in chronological order so that’s what I have here:
1. "He's empty, Terry! Take the shot!" 2. The bullet scoring across Jim's temple. 3. Jim's eyes after his dream in the opening scene. 4. Jim works out with his Judo instructor 5. Jim on the subway platform. 6. “I took a bullet for four cops…” 7. Jim's reaction to "Anne Donnelly, friend of mine." 8. "Like . . . totally blind?" 9. “You have to do this now?” 10. Jim plays ball against the wall. 11. Jim finding his way around the squad room. 12. Jim walks solo from his desk to Fisk's office for the first time. 13. "Tell me that gun on your hip is plastic and we got no beef…" 14. Karen offers her arm to Jim for the first time. 15. Jim pulls himself together to aim at Randy Lyman. 16. Jim "accidentally" whacking Lyman with his elbow. 17. Jim and Karen's touching moment at the end.
Now I’ll go first. I’ve decided that since we have unlimited turns (just not two in a row), we should only move one item either up or down the list per turn. That will make it a lot easier. For my first turn, I will do this:
+ "Tell me that gun on your hip is plastic and we got no beef…" --I love the birth of the blatant Jim/Marty feud.
And then I’ll post the revised order:
12. "Tell me that gun on your hip is plastic and we got no beef…" 13. Jim walks solo from his desk to Fisk's office for the first time. 14. Karen offers her arm to Jim for the first time. 15. Jim pulls himself together to aim at Randy Lyman. 16. Jim "accidentally" whacking Lyman with his elbow. 17. Jim and Karen's touching moment at the end.
Please tell me this makes sense! My idea is that as we go along, the moments fewer people like will remain stagnant on the list or will be brought down while the moments that everyone loves will migrate to the top.

It makes sense shmeep! But here's my Type A side coming out. How do we end the game? It seems like it could go on forever. Maybe we should time limit it, a week or two or something and then it is over?

OK "I'll give it a shot". I'll take Jim's eyes and move them up a notch.
1. "He's empty, Terry! Take the shot!" 2. Jim's eyes after his dream in the opening scene. 3 The bullet scoring across Jim's temple.

I have a fondness for watching Jim whacking Randy Lyman. That goes up one.
1. "He's empty, Terry! Take the shot!" 2. Jim's eyes after his dream in the opening scene. 3 The bullet scoring across Jim's temple. 4. Jim works out with his Judo instructor 5. "I took a bullet for four cops. 6. Jim on the subway platform. 7. Jim's reaction to "Anne Donnelly, friend of mine." 8. "Like . . . totally blind?" 9. “You have to do this now?” 10. Don't you know how thrilled he was to get called into Fisk's office the next day after mapping the squad? After the previous day's collision with the file cabinet, this was sweet.
Jim plays ball against the wall. 11. Jim finding his way around the squad room. 12 Jim walks solo from his desk to Fisk's office for the first time. 13. "Tell me that gun on your hip is plastic and we got no beef…" 14. Jim pulls himself together to aim at Randy Lyman. 15. Karen offers her arm to Jim for the first time. 16. Jim finding his way around the squad room-rather that being mad and touchy,he decided to be proactive and do something about it so it wouldn't happen again.
-"like...totally blind?"-While Miss Chenowith is amusing and forth right and offers some needed comic relief ,how can anyone be so ditzy and insensivitive?
