winter has made its appearance--6 inches and counting. Luckily we avoided the worst of the ice/ freezing rain. It did sleet some but I got it off the car
ASAP. It rained all yesterday morning then transitioned to sleet then snow. The roads have been closed except for emergency vehicles and snow plows but people with ATVs have been whizzing by all day.

We ended up with 9 inches. Apparently out in the country some drifts reached almost 4 feet. Now we are in an up and down cycle of temps. Once pretty snow will become a slushy mess.
