Hi Innie, Is there a thread on LIFE? Cause that is a show I think I can get into. Pity they didn't choose a more attractive lead but I liked the quirkiness very much, and YES I agree with whoever said it has SO many parralells with BJ. ANyone else still watching it? Yep, I am watching it and I noticed several similarities to BJ. Set up a thread and I'll be there!

Oh... dear!!! You got me laughing aloud with this comment because... You do realise that the characters speak with Welsh accents because they are Welsh, don't you? And that Torchwood is shot in Cardiff as, in fact, are some of the Dr Who episodes? Of course I know that. But it's still annoying, if you are not used to it.

Program Note--Tonight's episode of CSI has Harold Perrineau of Lost (and Demons) and has something to do with possession and exorcism and crime (of course!). Whether he is the exorcist or the possessed I'm not sure. Tie in to Demons???

For anyone who may have fallen victim to the Vampire on Friday nights at 9:00 (I have definitely been sucked into Moonlight) CBS announced on Monday that it has ordered 4 more scripts. Apparently this is a good sign that the show has performed up to CBS's standards. (So far, it is holding it's own in the ratings - last week a solid second place in that timeslot.)
I am ever hopeful that the script order is also a sign, as someone I know said, "that this will be something more than just another 13 week wonder."
Bad news - at least for now - is that CBS has not yet committed to a full season.

I've been enjoying Moonlight as well. Very appealing characters and interesting mythology. It's easier than I thought it would be to separate it from Angel in my mind because, apart from the setting and the premise (which are identical to Angel), it is a very different show going in an entirely different direction. I'm glad more scripts are being ordered.
I'm also head over heals in love with Pushing Daisies. I'm in shock that something so fabulous is on network television. Each episode so far has been a gem. It makes me happy to watch and each character charms me in a different way. I'm completely hooked.
We have also been watching Dirty Sexy Money and it's a fun guilty pleasure. I'm dying to find out which Darling is Dutch's child and not Tripp's and I want to know who killed Dutch and whether Tripp or "C" is the bad guy here. My favorite character, though, is Brian, the priest with serious anger-management issues who was forced to take in his son from an affair and who lied to his wife, telling her his son was a Swedish orphan who didn't speak English.
I have several Bionic Woman episodes saved up on my DVR, but I'm not too eager to watch them. The first didn't wow me and I'm tempted to just push delete and get it over with.
I'm happy Little People, Big World is back. I'm wondering if they will make any mention of Matt's DUI over the summer. My biggest thrill, though, is Friday Night Lights. It started off a little rocky because everyone on the show was so miserable, but it's going strong now and as good as ever and that's the show I look forward to the most each week. Good stuff.

Wasn't sure which thread to put it in, but I'll put it here.
Is anyone watching Cane? I'm not, but my mother is. She phoned me to tell me that on the last episode, this happened. One of the people who creates recipes with the rum or cane sugar says they often thinks of ideas for them at night. Someone then asks her if she dreams about them every night. She answers, no, some nights are reserved for Clive Owen!

Another phone call this morning. Apparently, on Women's Murder Club last night, the women are discussing how they would want to die. The blond one goes last, and says she wants to die on top of Clive Owen -- then she says hey you die your way, I'll die mine! I'm actually a little surprised. I mean, I didn't think he was that popular. If I was a writer, I would use George Clooney, or Brad Pitt, or someone. (I don't like either of them, but I would think they are better known than Mr. Sexy). Maybe his publicist had something to do with it? I know, don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but it could happen. Look at paid endorsements for products. And he did just have two flicks that basically bombed.

Argh, just getting into the new season and the writer's strike! No new scripts and reruns in the offing! Its odd that they didn't have clauses already in their contracts concerning DVD sales and web-viewing since that seems to be the wave of the future. If they have to fill in maybe CBS will consider running Demons.

Argh, just getting into the new season and the writer's strike! No new scripts and reruns in the offing! I heard that there enough scripts for most dramatic series to last until January. Maybe they will have settled by then! I only watch 2 American shows, so as long as it doesn't spread to Canada, I'm good!
