I do too, although CBS has just announced its initial list of shows renewed for Fall 2008 - 2009 and Moonlight is not on it. Maybe they want see if the numbers remain steady through the next four episodes?
Considering the fact that it won the most coveted of demographics 11 out of 12 airings - against Women's Murder Club and Frday Night Lights - and won the PCA for favorite new television drama, it would seem almost improbable that CBS wouldn't bring it back for its second season!
I know where there's a Board ramping up to inundate those powers that be!!

It's coming back on April 26. My paper had a list of new "post strike" episodes for various shows.

Ah, for we dedicated Moonlight fans, April 1st signals that we are finally nearing the end of the Friday night drought! CBS will rebroadcast The Mortal Cure on Friday, April 18th, followed by four new episodes beginning Friday, April 25th.
We - not we as in the members of this Board (there are very few ML fans here) but we as in the 5,000+ members of the ML fan Board and its millions of viewers - are impatiently waiting for CBS to announce whether there will be a second season (that decision rumored to be based on the ratings for those four episodes.

This article discusses what we Moonlight fans are up to in our efforts to save a show that hasn't been deemed by CBS to be doomed yet - but we're not waiting!! Through a grass roots movement, a nationwide blood drive to benefit the American Red Cross is in full swing. www.reuters.com/article/televisionNews/idUSN0132502820080402""Moonlight" star Alex O'Loughlin has been so moved by fans' efforts that sources close to the series said he is becoming a spokesman for the Red Cross. The spokesmanship position will be announced this week. For all the dramatic effort fans are expending to rescue the show, here's the kicker: "Moonlight" isn't in any imminent danger of cancellation. Although modestly rated (7.5 million viewers to date), the show is considered very likely to receive a pickup for the fall. Additionally, "Moonlight" still has four original episodes set to air when it returns April 25, so there's plenty of time for CBS to mull its fate. Fabulous idea!! Fabulous cause!! Fabulous fans!!

Oh, Chris, I hope you enjoy it! I find it such a nice way to end a week, pure entertainment with all the ingredients one could hope for in a series....including a mesmerizing lead character! As shallow as that sounds, he really isn't the only reason I keep tuning in - I swear!!

Chris, you will love it I'm sure! I know I was skeptical, thinking it would be a rip-off of Forever Knight but boy was I wrong. In the current issue of TV Guide I saw this about Moonlight... "As his vampirism returns, he'll have a much better understanding of his powers...where he once looked at it as a curse, by the end of he season, Mick will realize that being undead is something he can live with."Does this sound familiar or what?

Yes, there definitely is some familiarity there....and once Mick has learned to accept his vampirism, let's just hope they have sense enough not to end it with him and Beth ballroom dancing....not that he wouldn't look good in a tux....

This is a very different end product for me.....certainly not in the same vein as any of my other videos! But, when inspiration comes, one must go with the flow - I heard an old Neil Diamond classic and it reminded me so much of why I love Friday nights - namely, Mick St. John and Moonlight. For the few ML fans on this Board who might be interested, this is a shallow tribute to my favorite vamp - Thank the Lord for the Night Time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGquCK2tzWg

Shallow??? I think not! It made me realize just how much I am missing Mick! Can't wait for those new episodes to air! Karma for the heart-shaped fades. Loved 'em!

Beautifully done Lori, and I am not even a Moonlight fan. Perhaps you can convert a few of us. Your images match up so well with the lyrics of the song, and what an appropriate song for Mick. Now John Amsterdam....hhhhmmmm....what would be a good song for a video by lldh.........I'll keep thinking. But good to see another video. "been too long".....

Lori, first off, karma for your beautiful video. Last night I saw Moonlight for the first time. When I first heard about Moonlight I thought it was too much like Angel. You know, a good vampire fighting evil and basically I thought, why do that again??? Then again, why make more shows about the police investigating murders? Or hospital dramas like ER and so on?? Because they are all different. Angel and Moonlight are not the same either. Moonlight is a bit lighter than Angel was and Mick is in no way as brooding as Angel was. When a vampire dies in Angel he goes "puff" and becomes dust. I missed that in Moonlight, mostly because I've always found it amusing to see the look on the vamps face when he realizes that he's going to die and then watching him disintegrate. ;D I don't know if there's something wrong with me but am I the only one who was laughing when Mick was fighting??? I thought it was hilarious when he threw the professor's assistant up against the lamp post. ;D I don't know yet if I'm going to watch Moonlight regularly. I'll watch a couple of episodes before I make up my mind but so far it's OK. There is definitely some eye candy in it, Mick is.... Nice... - Chris

Haven't heard anything about canceling Moonlight but on a list of shows safe from the dreaded ax is Lipstick Jungle Please say it ain't so! Now that's just not right....puh-leeze! It is still indicated that whether Moonlight will be renewed depends greatly on the numbers pulled for the 4 new episodes, the first of which airs tonite. Alex O'Loughlin has been in the public eye so much more lately, from a spot on the CBS Early Show, to appearances on local CBS affiliates, radio shows, ComicCon in NYC last weekend, the Paley Center in LA this week, and interviews with TV Guide, etc. CBS has also begun to air promos for the show during other "storied" favorites, such as CSI, etc. Seems they are finally - after having the fans do that sort of work for them - beginning to give Moonlight some much deserved publicity. In the TV Guide interview that just aired yesterday, when asked, "Can you tell us anything about Mick's back story that hasn't yet been revealed?" Alex responded, "I can tell you a lot, but I have to be careful what I tell you about Mick St. John because there's the work that I've done as a character and there’s the work that we're going to put on screen in the second season…...and so I can’t preempt any of that." Hope he knows something we don't.......yet!
