Thanks Inuvik! I downloaded a game from 1980 and 1974. It will be fun go go down memory lane when I get the chance. (I hope it's not too long from now. Life sure is busy these days. )

Well, we are almost at playoff time, and things aren't looking good for our teams. The top 8 teams in each division (Western and Eastern) make the playoffs. Right now, the Maple Leafs (Anita's team) are at number 9 in the east. So, maybe, just maybe! And, the Flames (my team) are JUST hanging on to number 8 in the west. Fingers crossed!

It's do or die tonight--like it is every year it seems. The Leafs have to win and the Islanders have to lose tomorrow if the Playoffs are in the Leafs future this year. No score yet. It's now 1-0 Leafs! Yayyy!!

Sorry, Anita. I hope one day you can cheer for your favorite team! Speaking of who you can cheer for--hooray! The Flames just clinched the #8 playoff spot in the West! Woo hoo! You can always cheer for them. ;D

Wow! I didn't watch it, but the Canucks-Stars games had four overtime periods last night. (That turns a 3 hour game into 7! ) Wonder if that's a record? There will be some tired people at work today. And, the Canadian Women's hockey team just won the world championship! Flames play tonight. Been a while since we had a look at this: I am optimistic. Although they are #8, they were #8 in 2004 when they went all the way.

Ouch!!! I guess you have to go light some fire under those Flames - We want our happy camper back!! Take care and keep smiling - Chris Thanks Chris. Yes, they have lost (and lost in a very spectacular, massive way) both games they have played so far. But tomorrow's game is back in Canada, home ice, and they have the best record in the league this season for home games, so hopefully they will turn it around!
