Let's firm up a couple of rules for this game. First of all, as has already been mentioned, playing from memory is by far the best, but we all know that's hard to do so checking a few things out on IMDB is fine. Just don't use one of those little calculators that tells you the exact shortest connection between any two actors. That's blatantly cheating. Also, if possible, it's a good idea to try some interesting paths that haven't been used to death. If the only way to RE is through Sir Ben Kingsley, then go for it, but there may be a way no one has tried so that's always fun to see.

Another rule is about how things are actually linked. This game links Ron Eldard to other actors via movies and television. If you want to play a round for fun using plays, producers, directors, and creators, that's fine, but it only counts enough to move on to the next round if the link goes from actor to actor.

Joel Vig of the Broadway fame of Hairspray, informed us that Ms. Simpson and someone named Brittany Spears, both got their start in the same Broadway show, the title of which currently eludes me. As theatre is inadmissable in this court, I will not strain my few remaining brain cells in remembrance.

If only they had stayed on Broadway, perhaps more of us would:
