From "In Your Face," Lt. Fisk and that sandwich! That's one of my favs of Lt. Fisk. My sister has seen the episode, kinda hard for her not to since there is only one TV in the apartment, and when I put in one of the dvds or tapes of "Blind Justice" she asks, 'Is that the one with the sandwich? He makes that sandwich look so good.'

Here's one I absolutely love. From The Pilot (Gee, Mags, what a surprise). To me, it represents the culminaton of 30 seconds or so of one amazing piece of "acting." Acting in quotes because I never did catch RE acting -- more like some sort of character channeling/immersion therapy/whatever. He wasn't acting. He was Jim Dunbar. It follows on the heels of Dunbar skidding toward Lyman's kitchen, frantically giving the 1013 "Officer down" call and bashing into bookcases . . . And then his panicky "Don't move -- don't you move." And then he pulls himself together, in a veritable heartbeat. He becomes The Old Dunbar. The "balls of steel at the bank" Dunbar. He's icy and he's determined, filled with a steelly resolve. So here's the shot, replicated in the opening credits, and I never ever tired of it. Just plum damn gorgeous. PS Dammit . . . thanks for the new screencaps (!), but these super-wides screw up the margins for the whole thread. Maybe it's the same widescreen format that's playing merry Hell with Shmeep's TV? Whatever.

Whatever. First, your're welcome! Second, the thread margins are fine on my computer. If you want me to go into photobucket and resize all the ones I uploaded last night, I will. I'm not on dial-up so it won't take long. If there's a certain "k" that's good, let us know. (ex. 57k or whatever). Just say the word.

I've done two already. I'm resizing them on my computer so they're not so wide and then uploading them again. I'm leaving in a couple of days and I want to make sure I leave you happy.

Oops where'd that come from? Oh, back in character, ( although I'd have to agree with maggie, at this level do we still call it acting?) for levity, And when things are more serious Like discussing marriage How does this man turn perfectly sensible grown women into jelly? Don't ask me, he says!

Took a little longer than I thought--mainly because I forgot that I had to fix 62 pictures, but they are all resized. Still widescreen of course. I can't fix that but smaller. Shouldn't mess up the margins on anyone's computer now--I hope. Let me know if they do and I'll see what I can do. They don't mess anything on my computer so I won't know unless ya tell me. Before I drag this off topic--back to favourite character shots! Infomercial is over.

Oops! Sorry Maggie. Since I resized all the pictures, two of yours from your post are gone now. They are still in the photobucket album, but because I redid them on the computer, deleted the big ones and renamed the smaller ones, they are missing from your post. If anyone else has used any that I did from the Pilot in the last couple of days, you'll have to repost them too I guess. Sorry about that guys.

These two are from Leap of Faith when they're in Sam's apartment looking for the receipt. Jim looks like he's wishing he could help and wondering how long this is going to take and Karen looks annoyed because he's not helping! She forgets he's blind I think. I love it.

Next time see if the resize button in photobucket does the trick. I've found that turning them to 75% of original does wonders. It's under edit. --GB

Well, they never vanished to begin with on my computer, so I'd hate to think you went to all that work for nothing! But thanks for quoting my original post. Now I get to look at 'em twice when I scroll through. Not exactly a hardship.

Now I get to look at 'em twice when I scroll through. Not exactly a hardship. Like I said, too wierd. They are still missing on my computer so I only get to look at them once! Life's not fair as Scar would say. Don't worry about work. It only took about a minute. Piece of cake.
