to yourself? There has to be! I just came in from my 1 mile walk and thought about this.
I have to say "Native New Yorker" is the one for me - and NOT for the obvious reasons. When I was in 2nd grade, I was in a competition with my twirling company (yes, I did the baton toss thing!) and that was the song our routine was to. And I've loved it ever since!!!!

Paul Revere and the Raiders' "Indian Reservation."
shhhhh! don't tell anyone I'm off the Rez. I've even been called a Renegade.
Later, Carl
Or....Since I'm from St. Louis: "Meet Me in St. Louie."
Let's stick with my first choice.

We have a 'family' song, it doesn't just belong to me but the depth, breadth and rich tapestry that is our mob on our Mum's side:
Troy Cassar-Daley's version of Kev Carmody's 'Fields of Fire'.
You can find it at glandiomusic.com/info.php?bundle_id+66693
My own is Kirsty (bless her departed soul) MaCcoll's version of Billy Bragg's 'A New England' (yes it dates me but what doesn't these days?).

You might be dating yourself Matilda but I am just about to prove what an absolute dork I am! "Walking on Sunshine." When I was running public seminars on a regular basis it was my signature walk on song, ( tripple blush and head under the table) n In a vain attempt to redeem my reputation ( who is she kidding?) I also had Joe Satriani's classic "surfing with the alien" as my close-up music.

Yes you are dork Ash but did you spend the entirety of the 80s trying to look like Chrissie Hynde? And do you have a sister who did same with Debbie Harry (Sis was the blond one, I was dark hair, we were lovin ourselves sick)?
So you do not have the dagginess monopoly luvvie. The Salami Sisters are doing pretty well there.
And can I just say that this thread is guaranteed to ensure that the inner dag emerges and it might as well have been you Bub.
