As I was driving home on Thursday, I passes a station in Randoph, Ohio (I think) that was $2.08. I am begining to believe what I heard on the radio that gas would be $2.00 by thanksgiving. At least in the NE Ohio area. (The radio stations I heard that on is from Cleveland). Then as I was on my way to get dinner last night, I plassed through Clinton, WV a town so small it may not be on the map. Gas there was $2.49 a gallon.

The average in the San Diego area is $2.83/gallon for regular unleaded. The "cheapest" in my neighborhood is $2.79. A few stations are still over $3.00.

The corner Flash Market has gas for $2.28 today. Sad thing is I don't have the price of one gallon of gas right now, much less a tankful. Come on, payday!

Gas is down to $.83/liter which still works out to $3.24 a gallon. That's alot more than any of you are paying, but it's cheaper than it's been in a long time so I'm happy.
What is it in Australia? Last I heard it was something like $1.50/liter!

Over the course of this weekend, I've seen prices ranging from $1.11 to $1.23. It's only two or three weeks since we were paying $1.40 or so.

Yeah, it's quite surreal! Of course, with my luck, I'll come back from my holidays in 3.5 weeks and find it's back to $1.50.

Gas is actually below $2.60 a gallon here in our area - finally - I don't even remember when it was that cheap - but the timing is great - we started our travel soccer season last weekend!

If the trend keeps up the price should keep going down for travel soccer season. $2.39 if the lowest that I've seen it lately.

I've knocked 26 miles off my commute everyday, $6.50 off the toll charges I used to pay daily and about $14.00 less in gas every week - I'm feeling quite road wealthy right now! We're holding steady today at $2.59/gallon for Regular.

$2.48 here in the big O. It's $2.37 in Council Bluffs. Just across the river into Iowa.
Since, last year this time, gas was about $1.50, the powers that be have accomplished what they set out to do. Make us think we're saving money and gas is now cheap.
Later, Carl
