Help us! Do you reckon we're ALL (ie anyone who went through the NSW primary education system) scarred by that freakin whale skeleton? And get your Mum to ditch the big feed at lunchtime on Xmas Day - early evening, prawns and ham works much better and less fights. Trust me.

G LOVE East Ocean but can't go back after once famously walking in, copping the smell and then running out and throwing up in gutter on Sussex Street whilst pregnant, to great amusement of husband and friends who'd had a few too many sherbets at The Star. Memory too bad. True story. Re the swag-carrier - get rid of him. NOW. They never leave. LOL, you know, they probably wouldn't remember. Running down those stairs must have been fun - they're pretty darn steep. With the Regal, we're at the point where the Manager greets us personally and goes out of her way to find us a priority table. As for the swaggie, he'll move on in due course. It probably won't be too much longer until he annoys the hell out of my daughter and she slams the door on his face, but for now, he's welcome, since he's been acting as her chauffeur for some Centrelink stuff (she's agoraphobic and can't travel on public transport by herself - doesn't cope well with crowds, etc etc.) So as long as he minds his manners and is prepared to do that for the cost of some fuel, he's welcome to the floor.

It's not them - I have no shame about it whatsoever - pregnant woman's privilege. It's me, the memory is just too awful.
Aah, Centrelink. Now that's Australian - as one of my Nans says, helping the system that helps you!

Funny, I was never scared by the skeleton - I was fascinated by it. And mum died in 1983 - Christmas dinner is on me.

Essentially the same but lots of varieties of prawn - they always seem fatter than what most people refer to as shrimp, somehow.
He's got a lot to answer for, Paul Hogan! Especially that silly hat.
