Another excellent chapter Lori. It is so much fun to see Jim butting heads with someone else besides Christie. And learning all about Christie's past has been fun. Yup this is exactly where I would imagine she came from. Oh please keep it up. The writing is wonderful. (now that you are going to be doing time as a serial killer, you will have plenty of time to write fanfic. Yay)

Lori, I forgot to post a comment on this because I told you what I thought privately, but I want to say that this chapter was a lot of fun to read and the angst you have created for Jim rings true. I can imagine Christie's family being like that (cool sister and all) and I can imagine Jim reacting exactly as you've described him. Now I'm left wondering what's going to happen with their wedding! My money is on an elopement, but I don't know if Christie would stand for it.

I have to echo Shmeep's words. We were allowed little glimpse's into Christie's personality through the show--like Clay's party--and I think you captured her perfectly. And Jim is so not like that. I can see it all happening just like you described. Jim's probably going to have to be a bit of a you know what to get his way. It would be so much easier to elope, but I can't really see Christie doing it. No fanfare in that.
