I've posted a new "episode" in the Fan Fiction section. The detectives of the 8th Precinct investigate a drive-by shooting that looks like random gang violence -- but is it? The story is also at fanfiction.net: www.fanfiction.net/s/3216058/1/

Great stuff, as always! Thanks for giving me something entertaining to read during lunch today. I really enjoyed it. Liked the wardrobe malfunction and I really liked Marty's little blow-up over having to do the legwork whenever Dunbar gets one of his brain storms. Very well put and very enjoyable.

Oh, I do love your episodic writing and the fact that you have taken it upon yourself to give us Season Two. Your continued examination of the characters and relationships is extremely well done and very real, based on everything we knew at the end of Season One. I can see it all, and better still, hear it all as I am reading it! Extremely well done, as usual.

I'm so glad that you are back with another episode! Like Shmeep, I especially liked the clothes mix-up and Jim's good nature about it. Thanks!

I really liked this as always. Like everyone, I liked the clothing mix-up, Marty's reaction, and Jim's seemingly cold-hearted reaction to Antonio. For some reason, it makes him more attractive. It feels so wrong to say that when he's being a bit of a jerk about it even if it's true.

mlm, your fic just gets better and better -- this is such a wonderful mix of humor, emotion, and good solid police procedural. Really terrific and yeah, the wardrobe malfunction was a crack-up. ;D

I liked how Tom was surprised by Jim's outburst about 1PP. He is usually so tight-lipped, it was refreshing to see him lose it for once. And the wardrobe malfunction! Wonder what Christie's reaction would have been when she saw him that evening? In a word priceless!
