I just read the latest chapter again so I wanted to say again how wonderfully well done this is, mlm! You have the deck really stacked against Dunbar, so of course we can't wait to see how he's going to get out of this predicament. Really excellent.

The atmosphere you have created is so chilly I feel like sneezing! Yesterday I had no cable and I kept wondering: Has MLM posted? Chapter four has been everything I was asking for, and it has opened up a whole bunch of new questions. I'm so looking forward to the next installment...

This is really the best story you've done yet, and that's saying something. You are furthering the story while keeping the suspense alive and I can't wait to see how you get poor Jim out of this one. Thank you for giving me something so fun to read at lunch. I see you're on the board right now... can you be posting Chapter 5 at last? I can hope, right?

Kraus is a royal pain in the you know where! First he says he needs more manpower and then chains Jim to the desk with a freezer load of cold cases. Then he has the gall to say that he won't have to worrying about him "seeing" something he shouldn't! Grrrrr. Too bad Hank is such a well-behaved dog!

It's not in time for shmeep's lunch hour, but Chapter 5 is up. It's also at ff.net: www.fanfiction.net/s/3345669/5/ Or perhaps I should say it may be; ff.net seems to be having some glitches today. And don't miss Chapter 3 of shmeep's marvelous story, "Limbo," posted earlier today.

Two great stories updated in one day! What can I say? This just keeps getting better. Between Marty, Karen, and Jim, you have to know that they will find a way out of the mess Jim is in and probably nail Krause in the process.

Wow these latest chapters have me on the edge of my seat too. What is going to happen. The possibilities are endless. Will Karen and Marty save the day? I do have to offer a thank you to all our fanfic writers. What a lot of talent. Shmeep, I am so loving Limbo as well, and look forward to each new chapter. And let's not forget Maggie, and The one eyed man. Excellent. It is such a treat to log on and see a new addition to these great stories. It makes me want to grab a cup of coffee, and curl up, and forget it is winter out there. Natasha, I'm hoping you have something coming out soon. You are a great writer too. And Anita didn't you promise us some fanfic? Anyway, just wanted to thank all of you wonderful people and remark again how much talent there is here on Beyond Justice. Hope Lori is back on line again soon, we miss her. The videos by she and Kenina are incredible. Thank you to all of you marvelous folks.

And don't miss Chapter 3 of shmeep's marvelous story, "Limbo," posted earlier today. You are a dear but...this is the thread about your story! (Karma, though.) I just finished Chapter 5 and it's still riveting. I love that Karen and Marty will be investigating Jim's situation and that Jim has one ally at his new job. I can't wait to see where this is going and I have no doubt that it's good.

Is Dave the snitch, hoping to make brownie points with whoever? ?

Another good one. Knowing Jim, he'll figure a way to save his job and look good in the process. Krause probably doesn't know it, but I don't think Jim is one to back down from a challenge and that's exactly what he's giving Jim by not allowing him to do anything. Talking to Walter is a good idea. Love the case at the 8th too. Very interesting.
