As some of you know, I was stunned by the passage of President Bush's State of the Union address in which he opposed the creation of human-animal hybrids. Wha-- Well, thanks to a certain politically-savvy brother of mine, I have been turned on to a website that better explains the dangers of this phenomenon: www.humananimalhybrid.net/This is a website specifically designed to help raise awareness of this danger. They even sell t-shirts, in order to help people grasp the horror of what is apparently going on right under our noses. My personal favorite? The Roosterbeast: This is a worthy cause! They are even appealing to our pets (who would obviously be against this too): Okay, President Bush! You win! This is obviously horrifying and it must be stopped!

Apparently this is the next non-existent risk (after WMD in Iraq) that the Shrub thinks he has to sell us on. By the way, where is the money to "protect" us coming from? Let me guess: Medicare, Medicaid, student loans. . . . Of course, the "threat" won't stand in the way of making tax cuts for the rich permanent. Full speed ahead -- into the 19th Century.

Human-animal hybrids. That is nothing new. Greek Myth and Roman Myth: Centaur, Pan, the Minataur, etc.
