Wow, I knew you guys were gonna have a blast and I am so very happy that you got to experience such an incredible weekend together! You don't know how many times I thought of you on Saturday or logged on on Sunday, hoping to see a post --outnumbered only by how many times I wished I was there too to join in the fun, especially with a fellow Canadian and two fellow serial killers.
But, it is so wonderful to have the pictures, to be able to put faces to the names on this board, to read your experiences and revel in the fact that you have also had the thrill of seeing this remarkable play and experience how absolutely wonderful we have all found Ron Eldard to be!
And Kathy, I love the photo - excellent angle - thank you for thinking of me when you posted - you know I love those lashes - that's where my name comes from - it sure doesn't have anything to do with what surrounds my own eyes! If it did, I'd be Maybelline, not Longlashes!

If it did, I'd be Maybelline, not Longlashes! Lori - I am glad that you liked the picture. It's my favorite amongst those that I took this weekend. Unfortunately the picture that Mary took of me with Ron was the last picture on her film and has a rather disturbing red line where Ron is supposed to be. So that you can put a face to my name, too, here's one taken Sunday morning. From the left: Mary, Anita, me, Barbara. I forgot to smile! oops! All of these pictures today seem to have thrown the size of the screen off. Shmeep - can you help get us back where we belong?

So glad to see this and be able to see all four of you (the fabulous redhead I already know!)
Thank you again for posting, not only the photo of Ron but this one too - it is so very nice to "meet" you and I certainly hope to be able to do it in person some day!

Hi everybody! I had on a Blind Justice t-shirt underneath what I wore to the theatre and it was all I could do not to pull up my shirt and say 'Oh you mean this show?' Dogma and Carl, you're in for a real treat. I have lots of pictures thanks to Mary's trigger finger. I'll post them in a bit. what a hoot,,you should've lifted up your shirt,,just to see the expression on his face,, maybe for a moment,, he might've thought he was at marti gras with me ( oops,,tmi,,, what goes on in marti gras stays in marti gras ) due to some work technicalities, we have re arranged our trip out east till august,, the eticket people changed them as a courtesy, and the play now runs thru aug 13,, ( i think ) but i double ck'd with two different people at the box office that " that other guy " was still playing the lead,, we got saturday evening tickets, as that was what was advised to ensure the big name cast would be staring,, and our tickets are in row D,, yum yum so,, this gives me a few more months to get ready, look at more pix,, and live up to my expectation to ask him if i can have my picture with him touching he ear lobe,, sigh,,

Doh! ) Interesting. I've checked the Telecharge site for several months now and noticed a pattern where the last date of ticket availability is always five months out (sometimes minus one or two days) from the current date. I called and asked about this and they said that the dates were accurate. So do the actors have open-ended contracts? I thought the show was wrapping up in June. Becky

Becky I'm confused myself but I am hoping to find out somehow what the truth is and, if I do, I will certainly stick a thread on here about it. Becky and I have been doing that and it's so - five months out. I do, however, know that the actors have 3 to 6 month contracts; a friend of mine works for a Broadway producer and he told me that; again, I'm hoping to find out more. Actors - sheesh! ;D

Here's a pic of the five of us at Bond 45 and me on Terry's bench. Mouse, if you don't want your picture up, let me know.

That was right after I complimented her on her coat and she told me it came from Newport News. It was a beautiful coat with a gorgeous scalloped collar. So I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it comes to LA with the fellow who is currently starring on Broadway. Stranger things have happened.

It sounds like everyone had an 'absolutely' fabulous trip!!! Hearing all the wonderful reviews makes me feel like I was actually there. And to top it all off, the pictures. WoW! To see how excited and happy you all were and how nice to be able to meet and talk to Ron and get your pictures taken with him!

Since they didn't sell anything like t-shirts at the show, I had my own made. Here it is. The lady said she would be willing to make shirts for anyone and send them in the mail. She can put anything you want on it.

Just took a peek at the pictures posted on ron-eldard.com and I have one question--is his hair still as blond as it was on BJ? It certainly looks that way in the pictures. I prefer him as a blond so I was just curious ;D

I think Mary would agree.

Yes his hair is blond in the play and except for the sideburns being short it is very much like Dunbar's hair. Well I should say when you meet him at the stage door it is like it was in B/J. But in the play it is parted and slicked back, as you can tell in the pictures because it is in 1964. Kathy got a couple of really great pictures of him, which she has posted. Almost all pictures at the stage door he seems to wear a hat, I'm sure because of NY weather. So Kathy and I were thrilled when we went back for the Sunday Matinee and he came out hatless. He had a blue hat in his hand though, Kathy, and I never saw it again once he started talking to everyone. Perhaps you took it. Do you want to fess up? Perhaps you have Ron's hat?

Thanks for the confirmation. Maybe there are gremlins or something similar hanging out around that theater. Better keep an eye out on ebay to see if that hat makes a reappearence!
