The 8th Precinct Map

I started fooling around with a map of lower Manhattan and located lots of scenes from B/J. I also traced Jim's route from home in Brooklyn to Canal Street Station. These are some of the locations I have documented on the map:
The bar on Franklin with the guys, 3 blocks from Canal
The intersection where he was knocked down. Broadway at Canal
Hestor and Bowery for the Korean grocery
The coffee shop on Elizabeth
The Tuxhorn's on 7th
Sam Berglass' apt, and Jill Berglass' apt
Where the fight promoter was killed
Where Terry shot himself
The location of Jimmy's house and the River walk.
Some locations that I could have found but are too far uptown for this map. LIke the Amsterdam Gym. and Lefrak City. And Axis where Carl Desmond moonlighted is on Ave. D and too far uptown.
It's just been kind of fun locating all these places and it is just on a regular size piece of paper with notes. I will be happy to send anyone a copy if you'd like. Just send me a message through the message board with your address.

I just got a copy of this map in the mail. It's so cool--especially for someone who doesn't know NY-- to see where all these places are. There are a total of 17 different places on the map. Mary, to answer your question--I'm glad you have "too much time on your hands." That's how we end up with neat things like this, fanfic, videos....Thanks a lot. I'm going to add it to my Rememberance Book.

Actually, I doubt that any of you who do any of the above mentioned things "have too much time on your hands", but I'm sure glad you make the time.
