I kept thinking all day yesterday, September 8th, that the date meant something. And then I realized that it marked exactly six months since March 8th and the premiere of Blind Justice. Hard to imagine that only six months ago none of us knew each other! So let's raise a glass of wheatgrass juice to the detectives of the Eighth Precinct, to Jim and Karen, to Marty and Tom, to Lt. Fisk and all the perps from Brooklyn to Hoboken, to Christie and the good Doctor Galloway . . . and to the creative team of writers, directors, cinematographers and editors who made this show so unforgetable. As Jimmy and Hank walk off into the sunset, here's mud in your eye . . . and thanks for the memories.

Wow, Maggie, you brought tears to my eyes as I read your post and thought what could have been with a second season. But it's not to be and you are right, at least it brought all of us together and gave us so much. We saw 13 great episodes, and have been having lots of fun analyzing "every little thing". PLEASE let the fun continue but I can't help humming......as I raise that glass of wheatgrass juice: "Should old acquaintance be forgot And never brought to mind Should old acquaintance be forgot And days of Auld lang syne"

But still to the same thing - to the awesomeness that was our beloved Blind Justice. It is hard to imagine that a television show could impassion so many of us, but it did. And I am so grateful for our Tuesday night chat group, for the amazing, supportive people I have met through this forum, for those I met through the petition efforts who are still in contact, individuals who live in Jim's world everyday and those who support them. To the incredible cast who made us care about the men and women of the 8th Precinct, to the supporting actors who gave us a wonderful, varied bunch of perps, to the talents of Bochco Productions and the creative team, and as much as I hate to say it, to ABC television for at least giving us 13 weeks of the most memorable television show in my 30+ years of television watching. The lights in the squad room may have gone dark but nothing about this show has dimmed in my heart - it always will be the best of the best. LongLashes

The show was the best and this forum is too--oh golly, I might cry Thanks to all the great actors and production crew who gave us such a fantastic cast of characters we all continue to care so much about. Raise a glass and someone propose a toast.

The 8th Precinct and the talented people who created it will live on in our hearts. It is a bittersweet anniversary, but March 8, 2005, was the beginning of a lot of good things, not the least of which was getting to know the wonderful people who make up this community.

Not only all that, but with all the promos for new shows and returning shows, I've been a bit sad that our favorite homicide detective will not be back. Just think, in a couple of week, season 2 of BJ could be starting....
WAAAAAA.....

Sept 8 was the anninversary of the 1900 Galveston hurricane that destroyed the city, so, I didn't think about it being six months since we first all tuned in to such a ground-breaking show.
I am very grateful to have met all of you and do cherish our online friendships that have grown and are flourishing even after the set has been struck. Thank you for the online chats we have, and for the support you all have shown one another in putting a bright spot in all our lives.
Here's to this list lasting a long, long time! Salut!

Ditto what she said. ;D And can I toast with champagne too? I kinda not like wheatgrass at all. Anyway, I'm so thankful to BJ for the wonderful people I've met and the great friendships I'm getting because if it.

Excuuuuse me, but, it isn't just a bunch of women who were brought together. I am that one guy that makes it a "wonderful bunch of women and one great guy". Where are we all celebrating our first anniversary in March? Later, Carl
