There's a TMI board suddenly showing on here, with activity logged and I'm denied access.
It appears Censorship has finally caught up with this board, as well.

No censorship here! Shmeep and I have been asked only a couple of times what the TMI thread is all about. Here is a brief explanation from Shmeep:
"Yeah, the TMI thread is something I set up with Mouse for storage. It's just an administrative tool so we can sort things out together before making changes to the board. It helps us to organize and to stay on the same page and is easier than having to send hundreds of PM's to each other.
I'm so sorry if this caused any confusion. We didn't think anyone would notice it's there because it's really not a big deal."
May I add that we are not censoring any posts. We have no immediate or future plans to ban anyone. We love this board exactly the way it is and wouldn't change a thing!

Oh, I'm sorry it looks like that! It's not censorship. I promise!
See, Mouse and I set it up as a place to plan for the board and to brainstorm a bit. It was just easier than all the PM's that would be required. We didn't mean to make anyone feel shut out, it was just the easiest way we could think of to do this.
We had planned to make an announcement in case this little section caused any problems, but not many people have said anything so we assumed it wasn't necessary.
Well, I guess we're announcing it now. Yes, the TMI area is only accessible to staff because we wanted a little place to run things by one another. Sorry if we seem inconsiderate. I really hope this isn't a problem for anyone.

Understood, and thanks for taking the time to elaborate.
If I may make a couple suggestions:
You can put it under an "Admin Only" Forum (if you can't hide it, or prefer not to).
And if it allows for descriptions as the others do, add a notation, or "Admin area" to the title.
No, I don't always pay attention to every forum or thread. This just happens to be in an area that I view as potentially having announcements/data for the entire group (apparently, I don't check it as routinely as I'd thought if the board's been around a while).

Hey, where did the TMI Admin area thread go? Did you guys stop administering the site (ha ha) We didn't stop! We just no longer had a need for that thread so we got rid of it. I didn't think anyone would notice.
