Happy Birthday Carl!!!!!!
I am singing as I type because I cannot figure how to attach an audio file so youi will have to imagine it. Fee lfree to imagine a mix between the famous "Happybirthday Mr President " by Marilyn Munroe and a slightly off key but very joyful rendition from a drinking buddy!
Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday dear carl! happy Birthday to you!
Hip hip --- Hooray!!! ( loud cheering and fireworks) Hip Hip -- Hoorray !! ( wolf whisteling and laighter) Hip Hip Horray ( room erupts, champagne bottles pop and every one cheers!)
Cheers, ( I raise a glass - i wil have champagne at dinner in your honor.)
Natascha

I'm late replying. My thanks for remembering my birthday.
And, NO, you did not sing out off key.
Later, Carl

Shouldn't this board should have a Happy Birthday, Graduation, Wedding, good news, bad news. etc. thread.
So, maybe it should be called "Milestones"
This has got to be the most close-knit board anywhere, I think it could work.
What does everyone else think.
Later, Carl

I've noticed people having good things and bad things happen, and looking for a thread, unsure where to put them. A "Milestones" thread might be a good idea. And--my deepest apologies to everyone! I don't know what I did, but I've been smited twice today, so it must have been a doozy. I'll sit in my little corner of the library with the skeleton and zip my mouth. Whatever it was, I'm really truly sorry, and if you let me know what it was, I'll make sure to never do it again. --GB

Please don't sit in your corner with the skeleton. Maybe it was a malfunction. We love your posts. Especially loved today's story about buying the slug remedy. Here I'm even going to give you some Karma for that.

Everyone on the board has their own, shall we say "technique," for garnering Karmas.
GB has hers. And, we all know, don't we, how Mags and Schmeep get theirs.
I'll have to be right out front about it:
I want Karma and I want it now. Too subtle? (Besides how am I to get to be a Karma Pimp?)
Of course, if I get Smited, that's ok too. It's like the old adage: Publicity, good or bad, is publicity.
Of course, GB, if someone did Smite you on purpose, you could always 'slug-em' right back.
Yeah, had to say it. Was too good to pass up.
Later, Carl

And for the story where your car door kept falling off every time you turned the corner. I meant to give you karma for that anyway. --GB

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I'm going to copy you. I want karma and I want it now. Let's see if this works. (the caption for this icon is cheesy, and this certainly is!)
