On Wednesday, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be:
01:02:03 04/05/06 That won't happen again for 1000 years.
Just weird trivia.

Who has time to figure out all this weird, useless, but interesting stuff out? Someone has way too much time on their hands.

I received this back from someone--anyone know what on Earth he is talking about?
Actually it will happen next month for the English-speaking world outside North America. That day is Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you ....)

That day is Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you ....) I get it now. Instead of April 5, the date could also be read as May 4. But then, the joke isn't as funny.

My grandpa was so impressed with the 01:02:03... that he shared with my uncle, who's a bit of a "math person" (blech!). He shared that this June we will have 06:06:06 06/06/06. We get one of these every year for a while.

04/05/06 means the 4th of May for us so I guess we still have this day to look forward to!

I always told my mom she should have given birth to me three years earlier so I could be a 07/07/77, though. One of my med students was born then, and I had to concede to his argument that his birthday was indeed just that much better than mine. The extra two 7's make it that much spiffier. --GB

And my birthday is May 5! (5/5!) This Board has a high proportion of unusual dates!
