Anita, Look at Anna's picture. Only they are usually in Yellow. You surely have peeps in Canada. Those marshmallow chicks, covered with yellow sugar. Sure we do! I didn't know they were called peeps. I just call them marshmellow chicks.

Its an endangered Australian marsupial. Very cute. They're the Aussie version of the Easter Bunny haha. Part of the proceeds of the sales of the Easter Bilbies go towards helping the bilbies.

Oh my gosh, that is a riot and on Franklin Street. Ask Kathy about Peeps. She is from the Peep Capital of the world, I believe. I think they display a giant six foot tall Peep there. Ok, I'll bite. What is Peeps? Yes, I hail from Peepsville, PA. Actually, Peeps are made in Bethlehem, PA, and that is where I work. This year Bethlehem started a New Year's Eve tradition - instead of dropping a ball like NYC, they drop a Giant Peep. This is true - I could not make it up. THey had to keep it under police protection till New Year's Eve. And there is a Peepmobile (yellow VW Bug with a big peep on top) that is also seen on the streets of Bethlehem from time to time.

I love the bilby's! They have ears long ears like bunnies so they fit with our Easter bunny too.
Spoony, does the Easter bilby come and deliver eggs in Australia, like our bunny?

I'm still trying to get my head around those peeps haha! I want one.
We still have the Easter Bunny too! He still delivers the eggs. The Bilby has steadily been increasing in popularity over the last decade or so though... You have the chocolate bunnies on the shelf, and next to them are the chocolate bilbies.

I don't like peeps, but I do enjoy blowing them up in the microwave. I've also been told that they last forever is that true or are they just the Easter version of fruitcake?
