I like my Peeps after they get crunchy, which is when they have been opened and the sugar on the outside gets a little humidity in it. Not exactly stale, but... Here is where I find a Peep almost every day. Although this is a plush Peep, given to me last Easter by my sister, and immediately taken over by Toby. We have a game called Toss the Peep. He brings me the Peep, I toss it, he brings it back to me. Repeat. The longest running game has been 27 tosses in a row.

I don't like peeps, but I do enjoy blowing them up in the microwave. I've also been told that they last forever is that true or are they just the Easter version of fruitcake? Do you also enjoy cleaning the microwave after you blow up the peeps?

I found that bilby rather frightening. I'm glad I didn't read this thread before I went to bed last night, I would have spent the entire dreaming of peeps attacking bilbies.

Do you also enjoy cleaning the microwave after you blow up the peeps? By blowing them up I meant letting them expand, not explode into a sticky goo coating the insided of the microwave. But I'd probably be willing to try it once (as long as I can blame the mess on my sister ).

Here is a picture of a bilby. Kind of cute in a wierd sort of way. I've never seen one before. Oh my gosh! They look like a cross between a rabbit , a rat and a shrew!!! They definitely have a face only a mother could love. How big do those things get? I haven't had a peep in ages. Seems like everyone wanted a chocolate rabbit so I could have all the peeps for myself. Talk about eating youself sick I remember when they only came in yellow and now you can color coordinate. Oh and thanks for that site Anna--what will they think of next? Something for those old ,stale , hard as rocks little Valentines candy hearts?

Did you know three out of four people bite the ears off of a chocolate Easter bunny?
Which one are you?
Hoppy Easter.
Later, Carl
