This really isn't a plug for anything I have created, but... My youngest is potty trained! Wahoo!! All of you moms out there know how wonderful this is! No more diapers, after nine years of keeping Pampers in business we are done. I suppose this is a shameless plug for my wonderful three year-old. I could scream from the rooftops, "I'm free," but I'll just settle for posting it here. He just has one quirky little thing, he refuses to wear briefs, it seems he is a boxers boy, go figure.

Congratulations!
I am not in a position to relate, but I can imagine that is quite an accomplishment!
My mom used to give us M&Ms when we toiletted ourselves. I got jealous when my little brother still got them for his--work--but I didn't so I climbed onto the sink and stole the bag and ate them. I was good. I shared them with my brother.

More shameless plugging: I have started a forum for those of you who might be interested in the Daredevil comics or the movie. Come one, come all, we love to talk comics of all kinds, and there's even a chat room. www.darediva.proboards49.com/index.cgi

I'm a second grade teacher and love it. I especially enjoy teaching the writing of poetry to them and so I wrote one for you guys. I can not write in the style of Shakespeare, Keats, or Browning, but rather my verse has a Dr. Suess quality to it. Hope you enjoy. Rducasey (Mary)
Oh we're all Blind Justice junkies And we just can't get our fill Of our handsome homicide detective And the rest of the cast, as well. (sorry)
So we play the epi's daily And we post our thoughts online Where we connect with like minded people And have fun at the same time.
Why there's Shmeep, and Mouse and Maggie too And of course, Carl we can't leave out. Why he thinks we're all his harem And I guess we are, "no doubt".
To Kyt I'll always be greatful For, not knowing me at all She dropped #13 in the mail To end my crying and all.
And to Minianne and Kenina Your talents are too much to declare We are blown away by your writing And videos extroadinaire.
For Doobrah, MLM and Verorl And to others whose names I can't rhyme Just know that I love you all And appreciate your online time
You make me smile and laugh And often shed a tear. Your quality writing and insight Is more than I can bear.
So this series is really over And to quote brave Jim "Im fine" Cause I'm richer for the friendships forged And the great people I've met online.

I'm...speechless!
Can it be sung to any particular tune or is it meant to be dramatically recited? I'd like to see it performed in Shakespearean style even if you do equate it with Dr. Seuss. Shakespeare added to anything = funny.

This board is indeed full of amazing people! Alice your art is unbelievable! Does the shirt actually say "feel the love?" Casey, I love the poem, you are so good!
What a great group, how cool that we all came together. Thank you Mr. Dunbar!

Oh thank you, and to Alice YES, I love the shirt! That should be our official uniform of the BJJC (Blind Justice Junkies Club). And let's all meet in front of the *8th Precinct" in NYC. Wouldn't we have a ball?

Yes, that one DOES say "feel the love". This one says "if you can read this you are too close".

I love those shirts! And the Daredevil board is way cool!
Now, for a little shameless plugging of my own, I like to make jewelry sometimes. Maybe someday I'll post photos. And I'm writing a little fic novel starring mt favorite character, Matt Murdock. I'll start posting it by chapters on the DD board.
House, congrats on the potty training! I know completely what you mean. My youngest is 5 and it took a while to potty train him!
Rducassey., love the poem!

It might be a good idea to start different threads for different things people want to plug. That way everything will be easier for people to find and discuss. It will get very confusing if people keep adding on to this one thread and I want to be able to focus on and respond to each thing better. Unless you guys really like it this way.

No, different topics is probably the best way to go.
