Oh my God! Napoleon Solo as played by Robert Vaughn on The Man from UNCLE was sooooo hot! I could see that when I was 5 years old! I had a plastic wallet with his picture on it I carried my milk money to kindergarten in. I'd sneak it out of my pocket to look at it at nap time. I've always been a fan-girl... I can't believe I remember this but . . . do you recall the pencil phones on "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?" Fabulous fourth grade humor was to ask someone if they knew how to play Napolean Solo. If they said no you asked to borrow their pencil. You then broke it in two, and said into the broken half in your hand, "Open Channel D." Honey, we thought this was hysterical! And why do I need to even remember the U.N.C.L.E. stood for United Network Command for Law Enforcement? I need to defrag my brain . . . !

Ah, yes, the Man from U.N.C.L.E. I went for the blond Ilya Kuryakin (trivia: RE mentions him and mispronounces his name in an episode of Bakersfield, P.D.).
But do you remember the Girl from U.N.C.L.E.? It lasted one season with Stephanie Powers and Noel Harrison (Rex's son and yet another Brit I liked) as her sidekick. And another Tuesday show-- I remember it came on at 7:30 ... In Living Color on NBC.

Of course this dates me (presumably you, too!). Did you see him in Navy NCIS?

I *loved* the exchange where Abby wondered what Ducky looked like when he was younger. And Gibbs said: "Ilya Kuryakin." Kyt

Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, now there is a guilty pleasure. It airs on Spike and if you can find it, it is totally worth watching. It is actually a Japanese show where people compete and do incredibly goofy and dangerous stunts. The funny comes in because the shows are dubbed in English with very silly scripts. They have awful names for the contestants and the teams they play for and make snarky comments. There are two commentators that sound like they are straight from Monday night football, and they take it all very seriously. It is a guilty pleasure of the first degree.
