I'll admit it! I watch Blow Out on Bravo. I despise and am fascinated by the ego with legs and tattoos that is Jonathan Antin, Stylist to the Stars. Hateful man. And yet so funny when he cries, which is most of the time. That is, when he isn't talking about himself, ordering people around, or just being a bastard. Season finale in two weeks!
(I can't believe I just sounded excited about that...)

I went to a sneak preview of "The Island" this week, and the chase scenes are so outlandish and soooo long, that I started laughing so hard. I was the only one in the audience laughing. You know me and my quibble with "filler".
As for the rest of the movie: it's '60s derivative. The Prisoner meets Clockwork Orange meets 2001. Ewan MacGregor's character is "Lincoln 6 Echo." HELLO! Number 6? That's a director ripoff from the Prisoner.
As a junk food movie, it's ok but runs 135 minutes. It's loooong.

I may have written this on the other board, but I really like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy - man that Thom is a fabulous decorator! I also like American Chopper. In my case this was an "if you can't beat join em" thing. DH and my boys love it so it was either learn to like it or go in the other room. I gave it a try and have to come to enjoy it, I actually get excited about new episodes. It basically comes down to family relationships, dysfunctional family relationships, but relationships just the same.

I don't have a guilty pleasure right now unless "Nip/Tuck" counts -- but it's well written and well acted, so does it fit the category? I do have to close my eyes during the surgery scenes, though.
My best guilty pleasure is off the air now -- I NEVER missed an episode of "Project Runway," and watched all the reruns. It was a complete crack-up! (That Tommy Hilfigger rip-off, "the Cut," is just too cheesy for words. At least on "PR" some of the designers were actually talented!)

I do like Ewan MacGregor and Scarlett Johannson, but is it worth it? Perhaps not. You and the Washington Post gave it almost the exact same review.

I've never seen an episode of Nip/Tuck, but from what I hear, it may be too good to go under the heading of Guilty Pleasures. Project Runway applies, though. I have to admit that I liked The Starlet (but I think I was the only one). Hilarious. A gaggle of girls all competing for a five-minute role on One Tree Hill. And that brings up something else I'm not proud of, but this is the forum for it. I watched One Tree Hill for over a year before it hit me that it was truly bad television and that I should be watching House instead.

I am feeling so comfortable on this board, I going to come clean. I watched the first episode of Average Joe, all the way through. I am not proud, but I got looped into it and couldn't turn away. I am proud to say I did not make it through the second or any other episodes.

I am proud to say I did not make it through the second or any other episodes. *in a barely audible whisper* I watched all of the first two seasons of Average Joe. The only reason I didn't watch the current season was because I was watching Beauty and the Geek instead. And I've never missed a season of The Bachelor. I have more to admit, but I'm not ready to further cleanse my soul at this time. On a brighter note, do I win something for all this bad TV???

I looooove Queer Eye For the Straight Guy! That was my main guilty pleasure. I just love those guys too much. Another guilty pleasure is watching Mexican soap operas or novelas. Some of them are really good, but so cheesy...

I "watch" the old FBI series. Three episodes in a row on the cable network: American Life. Good old Inspector Lewis Erskine. Also, the old Man From U.N.C.L.E. on Wed. In the days when getting the bad guy was easy. Later, Carl
