Watched the 2 hour pilot on Friday night for this and was blown away. What a neat concept! This looks like a unique take on alien invasion, without seeing any aliens! It looks to be more like a cryptic puzzle. I'll definitely be following this one, it's moved to one of my faves! And not too scary, more like X-Files but better as it looks like it will be one continuous story rather than a different one each episode.
Anyone else catch it? What did you think?

I watched it too and really liked the team especially Brent Spiner and oooh can't think of the little person's name off the top of my head. Seems like it will be a fascinating and intriquing show. Also watched Surface last night. What is it this season with the ocean!!! It'll be like the summer of Jaws where everyone will be afraid of the water!

I caught Threshold this week (thank you Inuvik for reminding me) and it was really good. Yes, Brent Spiner is fabulous in everything and I adore Peter Dinklage (aka the little person) as well. Does anyone remember him from Just a Kiss? What a hilarious cameo! After the bowling scene, he's the guy who rushes up to the Peanut Butter Eagle on the street, recognizes him without his costume on, and starts yelling at him because that role should have been his.
I also liked the lead Actress Carla--something. Can't remember her last name. She was great in The Buccaneers, a mini series made several years ago from an Edith Wharton novel. I've liked her since then--and I seem to remember her dancing with Kevin on The Wonder Years way back when.
Yes, I think I'll keep watching this one. With imploding faces, super strength, creepy masks, and even creepier prep-school boys with guns, what's not to like?

I also liked the lead Actress Carla--something. Can't remember her last name. Carla Gugino -- she was "Karen Sisco" for about 13 weeks last year.

Carla Gugino was also in Chicago Hope, that's where I remember her from. She has a fabulous voice.

Well, still watching this show but...
Last Friday was a rerun of the pilot. I hope it's not going to be like Prison Break, with a long break now.
Also, I am getting a little frustrated waiting for something to happen. I know it's building slowly, but we could go on forever like this! (with the team one step behind disaster). I think it needs to pick up a little bit of speed, especially with Invasion as its competition.
Are others still hanging in there with this?

Too bad, because Brent Spiner is such a great, underrated actor (like someone else we know).

I'm still watching, although it's not the end of the world if I forget to record it. I am preferring Invasion, though. Each week draws me in just a little more.

I just read in the paper that Threshold has been cancelled. It will be taken off the air immediately so it won't interfere with the rest of the November sweeps.
It's no surprise, but I'm still sad. I watched this show faithfully and really liked it. Such an intriguing premise, and it was played out in such an intelligent, low-key way.
If it weren't for being on so late, and if it weren't for Invasion, it may have lasted. Plus they interrupted the run several times, then moved nights, so it was hard to find even for people like me who were looking for it!
Bummer.

Oh No!!!!! I really liked this show and all the characters. I was worried when it was preempted the other night--thats never a good sign--and when they begin moving shows around. Another case of keeping some crummy show and letting an interesting one go.

I just watched the pilot last night. It's annoying how they cancel good shows.

I saw in next week's TV Guide, that Threshold is being released 22 August for 56.99. The creator of the show was upset that it was cancelled early, saying he had ideas that went far into a season two and felt rushed to try and wrap up the series so fans could have a sense of closure. Anyway, there are only 12 episodes, 8 of them having been aired. Now, if we can just get the slow-pokes, the duck and dodgers to do something, anything about BJ--the 13 or preferably the 22 episodes!!!!!!
