Slings & Arrows is a Canadian series that Sundance Channel is now showing. It stars Paul Gross (remember him as Benton Fraser from "Due South"?), another drool-worthy male. Also stars his wife (grrr) and Mark McKinney, one of the "Kids in the Hall."
Paul plays an actor who had a nervous breakdown during a stage performance several years ago, and now is asked to take over a stage company because its director was run over when he collapsed in the street drunk. It's very funny, with lots of backstage, often black, humor.
Anyway, it is so great to see Paul Gross again. The show is on Sundays at 8.

For sure! Paul Gross is a real babe. If you like him, he made a funny flick about curling called "Men With Brooms".

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. I watched an episode just to see what I thought of Paul Gross in another role, and it's a ton of fun. (Which one is his wife?) Kyt

Kyt His wife, Martha Burns, plays the diva actress with the short red hair. It's kinda hard to picture them together, n'est-ce pas? But they have a long scene together in a park in the 6th & final episode where their relationship comes through. And doesn't he have nice hair? He's aging well... Sundance is doing repeats of the show -- still at 8 on Sundays and several other times during the week.
