Anybody else here play an insturment?
I play oboe and piccolo and a very little bit of piano. I used to play flute. I've also tried clarinet, trumpet, trombone, french horn, cello and viola. I was a music major for a while in college so I took several "learn to play in insturment" classes.

Absolutely! I play the flute, although not as much as I used to. I played all through high school and then played in the college concert band for 4 years. Along the way, I learned to play the clarinet, saxophone and trumpet. Played saxophone for a while in a jazz band at school. I'd love to play more, maybe I should've majored in it!

I was the best darn trumpet player in my fourth grade class, but didn't really pursue it. Then I took piano in college and learned to very slowly pick my way through a piece until I had it memorized and could play it so well people actually thought I knew what I was doing. Unfortunately, I couldn't move across country with my piano so I gave it to my nephew in Oregon and now I've forgotten everything I ever knew. Sad, really. I miss it.

My father played the cello and the violin. I did not inherit his musical prowess. I can play the cd player.
