Juli, I love this puzzle! I just discovered it and am hooked! Of course my 13 year old daughter who is going into 8th grade this fall and will be taking 10th grade math has no problem with it at all. I gave her a puzzle to do and she had it finished it no time and of course it was perfect. I should be so lucky. Math is not one of my best skills. Cecily

I had never heard of Sudoku until the other night when I read your post, Mouse. Of course, I went to the website and before I knew what happened - the better part of the night had passed - though I'm pleased to say I DID finish the puzzle! *grin*
So, I can now confidently say, "Yes, I'm a fan of Sudoku puzzles!" javascript:add(%22%20;)%22)
Thanks for introducing me to these. I love anything that has to do with logic and puzzles... They reminded me of the logic puzzles that one can buy at the grocery store: there is an empty chart with columns and rows and usually 5 or 6 hints that are full sentences. One must then fill in the whole chart based on the few clues given. It appears to be much the same "kind" of logic - just a different presentation!

I love this goofy puzzle! I can do the "gentle" ones pretty quickly now, and I can complete the "moderate" ones pretty consistently, but I have only finished one of the "hard" ones, I can't even fathom the idea of a "diabolical" puzzle.
