Sorry to be moving individual posts, but the movie quote thread seems to have started up in a Blind Justice thread and I thought it would be much less confusing to move those posts over here where no one has to feel guilty for going off topic. Dogma's post:ok,, cuz i'm such a nice person here are two lines from three movies,, so maybe you'll be able to identify one of them 1>> jeez,, sometimes i crack myself up your ego is writing checks that your body can't cash 2>> question: is that a foot long? response: and then some paprika: i'm such a happy spice 3 >> i LIKE you , dotty, LIKE i say we let him go

And Dogma's next post:1>> now, you're thinking: did i shoot 5 shots, or did did i shoot 6? in all the confusion, i don't remember,, you just have to ask yourself one question: do you feel lucky today? do ya, punk? ( come on carl,, do you feel lucky?) (my d/h contibuted this one ) 2>> is that color p*ss yellow, or puke green? 3>> beans above the weinie 4>> otis,, my man !! 5>> this one time,, at band camp,,, ( eyph? got it ?) 6>> you get a god da*n job, before sundown, or we're shipping you off to military school, with that god da*n finklestein sh*t kid ,, son of a b*tch !!! ( another one of my d/h favorites )

5>> this one time,, at band camp,,, ( eyph? got it ?) I hear that one so much! I've never even seen the movie that it's in. But I could tell a few stories that start out with that.

"You have such a long, beautiful cane!" Guessing--Scent of A Woman? Here's one from the movie I saw in the theatre this weekend: (there's a hint) "All this sham marriage will produce is dead offspring"

quick question: how many days should we be kept in suspense if no one knows the answers,,so they can be posted? I don't know if there needs to be a rule. If someone is really curious and asks me, I'll tell. As for the two I have left unanswered, I'll give it a little more time in case Jillaw wants to come along and answer them. The first one I posted is from a movie she and I watched repeatedly when we were fourteen. Hey, here's an idea. If no one gets one, perhaps we can start providing hints or other quotes. Here's my first quote again: "It's not unlike escaping Mother's womb. God, what a memory." Now here's another quote from that same movie: "Look at me, Lord. I was better off in the dungeons of Aquila. My cellmate was insane--and a murderer--but he respected me." Ah, what a great movie! Ladyhawke. I love how Matthew Broderick's accent comes and goes (not unlike the way Grand Mof Tarkin scares Priness Leia's bad accent right out of her...but hers never comes back) My favorite quote from Ladyhawke: "I believe in miracles Marseilles; it's part of my job." Spoken by the evil archbishop.

Here's one for shmeep (unless somebody else gets it first)
"Mellow greetings, yukee dukee!"
(I know...we have discussed the different spelling possibilities in the past, but I think my way is the most grammatically correct)

"Bye Bye fellas, have fund storming the castle! Billy Crystal in The Princess Bride. LOVE that movie. "My name is Inigo Montoya and you killed my father -- prepare to die." Heh.

I'm giving everyone a gimme. What movies does this line come from? "My name is Bond, James Bond."
Extra credit for naming them in the order they appear.
I really enjoy this Board. Later, Carl
