This is just a casual thread for fun. You can either give the answer for who said one of the quotes (but be sure to include the quote in your post so we don't get confused) or just come up with a quote of your own for someone else to correctly place. Extra pretend points if you can name the character who is speaking!
I'll start.
"It's not unlike escaping Mother's womb. God, what a memory!"

I don't know the answer to that one, but here's another one:
"I know, mix mayonnaise right in the can with the tuna fish. (Into tape recorder) This is Bill, call Starkist."
I gave away the character, so no extra pretend points on this one. Sorry.

Here's one of my favorite quotes ever. It, too, gives away the character, but what a great quote!
"My mother told me, she said, 'Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant.' Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant."

How about:
Granny: "I'm shrinking." Larry: "Bummer."

How about: Granny: "I'm shrinking." Larry: "Bummer." Parenthood! But you shouldn't have said the names and robbed me of my pretend points!

Jimmy Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey." Words to live by!

Is this from Top Secret, by any chance? I don't actually remember the line or who said it, but the movie has a funny bit involving people disguising themselves as a cow ("vache").

"I've never been alone with a man before - even with my dress on. With my dress off, it's most unusual. I don't seem to mind. Do you?"
