I'm sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere on the board...but I saw this today and I think it's an AWESOME sign for us B/J fans: www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3770Point Pleasant, a cancelled FOX series from last season, was just released on DVD -- 13 episodes. I'm sure there have been other 13-epsiode series released, but I'm not aware of any. I think it's a great sign for us!

Cool. Here's hoping!
This reminds me: I saw "Over There" - presumably the pilot - on dvd in the store the other day. Surprised me.

Cool. Here's hoping! This reminds me: I saw "Over There" - presumably the pilot - on dvd in the store the other day. Surprised me. I just went on raretv.co.uk to see if they have Blind Justice by any chance. They don't. But they do have their top ten sellers listed. Bakersfield PD is #9. The rest of the top ten seem to be UK programs. Interesting...

I absolutely take that as good sign. If they can put that--and some other shows on DVD--they can do BJ. Here's hoping!

Oh, I hope we get our DVD - PLEASE!! I've already got a copy on DVD sans Episode 13, VHS with a not so clear Episode 13 and thanks to Kenina, 12 of the 13 episodes on a DVD that I can watch on DivX too! But it's not enough! It will never be enough! In case you haven't done so already, Amazon.com has a link for Blind Justice where you can sign up to pre-order. They are keeping track of who does and will let the studio know how much interest has been generated by the pre-order. At this point, though, the Amazon message still reads that the "studio is not currently" producing this title on DVD. LongLashes

I have signed for the DVDs at Amazon dozens of times already. I have all 13 episodes on DVD, but I would like proffesional quality DVDs with all the extras!

Lucky girl -- how did you get all 13 on DVD? I could only manage 1-8 off eBay, since no one I know watched the show (I know, I know) or had the right equipment!

I got 1-11 from that seller on ebay, 12 from someone at Shades of Blue, and 13 from Kyt, back when they posted a therad about it on B Justifications. They are among my most cherished and treasured DVDs.

I got 1-8 from that person on Ebay and he promised I would get the rest as they aired, but I could never contact him again. I heard he got shut down, so you were lucky to get up to 11. I do have the others though- some on vcr and some dvd. I would love however to get the real thing eventually. Let's keep hoping and posting on Amazon.

Hmmm... That is strange Casey. I got eppys 1-4 on one disc from him, and then our arrangement was that he would send me a Paypal invoice each week and mail out that week's episode individually. That is how I got episodes 5-11. He dissapeared before episode 12 on me. I still wonder how much money he made off the show! I alone paid him around $110. Yup! That is one expensive DVD set!

I'm in the same boat -- paid $20 for the first DVD with episodes 1 - 5, then $14 each DVD thereafter - managed to get through Episode 11. Then he stopped answering emails.
I checked out his Ebay user name. Old name gone, new name kind of hinting that he couldn't do it anymore! I guess maybe he did officially get shut down - a little infringement issue? I hate to say it, but I wish they hadn't noticed until after the end of the season. Cause he was in California and that probably would have meant a commercial free, DVD copy of Fancy Footwork!
I have paid out beaucoup $ for what I did get, but I would do it all over again to have the studio version of the whole season.
