Because this is my second for the day, there's not a darn thing I can do about Annie Jansen! But look where she is now!
- Annie Jansen for not showing Jim proper courtesy after a year of absence and hardship..."Hey it's Annie...it's so good to see you Jimmy." The more I think about that, the more it bothers me! Offering him a chair and some space is one thing, offering him some respect is another!
+ Don Yun because he obviously respected the ways of his elders but could also see that he needed to make his own way.

Annie Jansen (nee Postiglione) happens to be very bad at keeping in touch with her friends and family. Although she is very good at recognizing faces, and treating everyone as if they're her best friends and she's just seen them, she's really very clueless when it comes to the inner workings of other people. One sunny afternoon who should come snarling into the beauty parlor where she works but Vince Postiglione, her second cousin's dear brother. "Vinnie, darling! It's me, Annie!"
Vince, of course, does not recognize this crazy lady who comes rushing up with a hair dryer in one hand and a non-environmentally-friendly aerosole hairspray in the other. "Did you get my Christmas card?" Annie asks, though Vince is pre-occupied looking for the little Eastman hussy who's going to marry his poor bewitched son. "I'm looking--" he starts.
"You're looking a little peaked," she says sympathetically and pushes him into the nearest chair, swivels it around, and starts a beauty treatment on the bedraggled figure. "Now, my husband Terry, you know, from the reunion last year, he's a cop, and he gets to carry around that little gun, but I get the biiiig "gun"," she says with a laugh, holding up the hair dryer like a weapon. Vince struggles to get up. "I'm looking for the Eastman girl, because I think she has Dunbar's gun," he says. "Dunbar?" Annie asks. "Jimmy Dunbar! He's my baby's godfather, you know, what a small world!"
Vince looks up, catching sight of little Miss Eastman and her darling sister, Chase. "I have to go." He struggles up, pushing at Annie as she tries to push him back in the chair. "I'm not done yet," she argues. "You need to relax." Vince pushes her back, and she falls, hair dryer and all, into one amazingly large industrial sized sink. Zzzzttt! Winded and dizzy, Annie struggles up, holding the hair dryer aloft, and dripping wet.
"Miss Eastman!" Vince yells, not noticing Annie's dilemma. The Miss Eastmans both turn and scream, seeing Annie waving a gun-shaped object in the air and looking bedraggled and out of her mind. A gun suddenly appears from a designer handbag and fires, knocking Annie back into the drink, this time for good. All three freeze. "Well, shoot," Vince says.
"I did," replies one of the Miss Eastmans. "Let's not tell Detective Dunbar about this little incident, okay? I think it might upset him," Vince says. Then he relays the meeting place in the little coffee shop to the girls with specific instructions on the time they need to meet Dunbar and return the murder weapon. The girls agree, and leave, but they're late arriving, as they had to stop for designer coffee--that drivel they serve at non-franchised shops just will not do.

Quite the grizzly end for Annie and a neat way to tie together two episodes! I knew those Eastmans were no good!

Great demise GB, for Annie. Imagine that sweet lady was related to the Postigliones! I wonder why she wasn't at the engagement party.
Vince Postiglione-Just because Jim had to acknowledge that you believe "he has about as much right to carry a gun as he does drive a car."

Good one GB - although she just didn't have much resemblance to the Postigliones at all - I wonder if she wasn't adopted into that group?
And speaking of the Postigliones:
- Vince Postiglione for not accepting any responsibility on behalf of his family for the ruckus caused at the restaurant or for apologizing on his family's behalf to Jim for the comment made about Christie!
+ Don Yun for the quiet politeness demonstrated on his arrival at the squad - must be such a nice change from the usual disorderly conduct!

- Dr. Taylor for spending far too much time with dead people and forgetting how to be civil with the living - she was just a little too short a little too often!
+ Lester because he could have hustled Jim for the double or nothing game, but not only did he play it fair and square, he didn't take the money either! (although I'll bet Jim wishes he did - don't treat me any differently just because I'mn blind!)
