Detective Jim Dunbar+++++for learning to throw and catch that ball. A great stress reliever! Christie Dunbar+++++for not giving Jim a hard time for taking the paint off the wall when bouncing that ball! Lt. Gary Fisk-----for not learning some technique to help him with all the stress of the job. You know, Tom admitted that he wasn't too proud to learn from Jim.

Detective Jim Dunbar+++++for learning to throw and catch that ball. A great stress reliever! I have been practicing this very thing. Why? I don't know. One of those strange BJ curiosities I guess. I have probably done it for an hour altogether so far, and I'm managed to catch the ball three times in a row a few times. I'm not consistent and I don't feel like I'm in control at all. Mind you I don't have the best bouncy ball, but they are just starting to show up in the stores so I'll be looking for a better one. (Mine does rattle). After seeing how hard it is, I realize what a feat that is and how long it must have taken to get that good at it. Not to mention the amount of stress involved in all that practice. I wonder who got all the balls for him while he was getting good at it? Maybe Hank since he can hardly contain himself in that scene! OK. Back to the game. Just seemed like a logical place to post this considering the comment.

I'm loving the idea of you playing with your jingly ball, bjo! And Chris? This board has been going strong for a year and a half, and Shmeep initiated the very first survival game on December 7 , 2005. Kudos and karma for coming up with NEW REASONS -- and funny ones at that -- after all this time!

Detective Jim Dunbar+++++For knowing a promise is a promise. Even though you didn't want to talk to Pete "blind guy to blind guy", you had promised Artie a favor and you kept your word. Detective Karen Bettencourt+++++for having, dare I say, a 'bladder of steel'. You drink all that coffee and never once have to pull over for a pit stop! Lt. Gary Fisk+++++for having your squad's collective back.

I'm going to practice more once I find a better ball which shouldn't be too hard in the next few weeks as the nice weather approaches. I'll let you know how it goes. Modified to add: I didn't say, and probably don't have to, that I've been trying to catch the ball with my eyes closed. Love your reasons too, Chris. That's kind of why I stopped playing. I can't really think of anything new.

Thank you It is kind of hard to come up with new reasons but my mind sometimes wanders off in weird directions and comes up with this stuff... I have been thinking of trying to catch a ball like that too but haven't done it yet. I'm sure I would be really bad at it... Take care and keep smiling - Chris
