I like the one with the vest! I got as far as looking for screen shots yesterday, but no further. (That was an enjoyable pastime in its own right. ) As for the hat... Well, I'm wondering what the original looks like. Is it really hideous? And, here are a couple more: (I also have a much less flattering caricature of Christie, if anyone wants to see that!) Krissie

Wow you are both so talented. Krissie, how do you ever do all those lines, for the shading and all? Fascinating. Karma to both as soon as I can.

Okay... I have found the hat and... yep. I'm scared. If I have nightmares tonight, I'm going to blame you guys. Here's the caricature. Consider it an antidote to the lovey-dovey pictures in my previous post. (What was I thinking, when I drew them?) Krissie

Krissie, ouch! Is Christie frigid? Cold? A combination of both? She looks like a cross between an ice queen and a vampire bat. Talk about nightmares I continue to be amazed at the talent that pops up here!

Ron E. according to Dr. Suess (NOT!) actually by momoonwez
There’s this guy that we love, Who as cool as they come, Who keeps us all coming back.
He’s the cat in the hat, Outside the Walter Kerr, Signing autographs and all that.
I ‘ll take this guy Any way I can I’ll take him in a hat, I’ll take him with a bat, I’ll take him with a bag, I’ll take him with a flag, I’ll wait on a log, In the New York fog, Whether he keeps his head warm, He still turns on the charm, And that’s okay with me.
I met him that night, Though some think it’s a fright, That hat that was covering his head, His smile came through, Though his words were few, He was still quite the sight.
I’ll never forget how it made me feel To meet him there that night, I may never get to repeat it again, So I’ll say it loud and clear…. I’ll take him any way I can.
I’ll take him in a play, I’ll take him today, In a movie or TV, The cat in the hat Is totally cool And I’ll take him ANY WAY!
