Oops sorry Mags, hate cause a problem, and look I spent so long choosing wich piccy to use I not only picked bad but posted late. Apologies all 'round N I hate to sound like an old Cranky-Pants admin here, but may I please remind everyone -- again -- that when you post a GIANT photo it screws up the margins for the whole thread? So please re-size to fit -- or simply use the "normal" screencaps, those that are in our photobucket account! THANKS!!! And we have an Oops here -- we had a "B" entry before ashatan posted, so I've gone with the earlier entry. Hey, ash, just save that great thought -- after we do "Dressing the Eighth," I'm sure we'll do "Dressing the Dunbars."

Let's sing it, all together now: A, B, C, D, E, F, G . . . Duh, Maggie, learn your alphabet! Sorry for getting so carried away, and ashatan, karma to you for being such a good sport about the screencap. And now, back to our regularly scheduled madness. May I be so bold as to fill in the missing "C"? This will make E the next letter up!Dressing the Eighth A is for Awful, where did Tom get those ties? B is for Burberry. In the raincoat competition, Jim's took the prize. C is for the " Casual Day's" wardrobe. Again the winning outfit is "Ted's". D is for Da Hood, where Sonny gets his cheesy threads . . .

Here's a silly game I'm blatantly stealing from another board! What Hath Shmeep Wrought! Thanks Maggie for that list of all the topics for the game Shmeep started way back on Jan. 22. Who would have thought it would go this far. ...and Maggie has still more ideas?

All of these ideas are great, but does anyone have an idea for "E"? I'm stumped!

Dressing the Eighth II A is for Awful, where did Tom get those ties? B is for Burberry. In the raincoat competition, Jim's took the prize. C is for the " Casual Day's" wardrobe. Again the winning outfit is "Ted's". D is for Da Hood, where Sonny gets his cheesy threads . . . E is for Earrings, Christie will take the squad shopping to a trunk show. F is for Fashionable, which, if you were as blind as Dunbar, as brain-dead as Sonny, or had never flipped through a back issue of Vogue in your doctor's waiting room you might think was the appropriate adjective to describe the dreadful frock Christie's wore to Walter's racket and I know this line doesn't scan but what the hell and we're on to the next letter . . . . ;D

L is L'Eau du Skell, Eric Fitzgerald's distinctive cologne. [Q] “Do you know the origin and spelling of the police slang word pronounced skel (often heard on ABC’s NYPD Blue TV show in the USA) which seems to be used to refer to street crooks, thugs, or con men.” The word is usually spelled skell, and it’s defined in my books as referring to a homeless person, vagrant or derelict, though others have mentioned that there is some idea of small-scale villainy attached to it.
