And if you were the Set Hairstylist, Kathy, with whom would you be giving the most attention? You already know the answer to this question, silly Mary. And that is why you applied for the hairstylist job on the set of Demons, right?

[/quote] Now this is really getting me thinking. That hair stylist person on the set of B/J really had quite the cushy job. Fisk, bald,,,Tom and Marty, nothing to do there....we see that she ignored Karen, and Christie only came in one day a week to tape her one scene....so she had only to worry about that Blond Dude's hair. And why didn't she win an emmy for that?

Back to the game:Dressing the Eighth A is for Awful. where did Tom get those ties? B is for Burberry. In the raincoat competition, Jim's took the prize. C is for " Casual Day's" wardrobe. Again, the winning outfit is "Ted's" D is for Da Hood, where Sonny gets his cheesy threads... E is for Earrings, Christie will take the squad shopping to a trunk show. F is for Fashionable, which, if you were as blind as Dunbar, as brain-dead as Sonny, or had never flipped through a back issue of Vogue in your doctor's waiting room you might think was the appropriate adjective to describe the dreadful frock Christie's wore to Walter's racket and I know this doesn't scan but what the hell we're on to the next letter... ;D G is for Gaudy. Who chose this stripe on stripe ensemble for Marty? H is for Handercheif...did Jim take one to the party? I is for Image. Was it Christie or Jim who was most concerned with this guy's? J is for leather Jacket. For Jim and Marty it's a must when you go undercover, no lie! K is for a knockoff. Or was that ring of Karen's actually a precious stone? L is L"Eau du Skell, Eric Fitzgerald's distinctive cologne. M is for Muted, the kind of colors Jim often wore. N is for Nice muscle showing tanktop, though we'd like to see more. O is for Orange, not Tom's best color by far! P is for Positively bland, Tom's outfit at the bar. Q is for Quality. Jim's duds definitely had that. R is for Raincoats, gone are the days when a detective wore a hat. S is for Suspenders. Lt. Fisk sometimes wore. T is for the black long sleeved V neck T-shorts Ron...er Jim...buys by the dozen at his favorite store. U is for Uniform. as a detective,Jim no longer wears NYPD blue. V is for V necks. Jim had them in other colors too. W is for Walkie-talkie. Department issue and kept close at hand. X is for e Xtremely obvious that the set hairstylist worked only with Jim. PLEASE tie this back with a rubber band! Y is for mustard Yellow. For Tom, another color boo-boo!

Oh it definitely would be pronounced Idear in RI, which means it should rhyme with queer, fear, smear, hear, etc etc....but knowing that it should be pronounced Idea without the 'r" i figured it could rhyme with all those words that end with "r" that we don't pronounce. Very confusing but looked like an easy rhyme to me. hahahahaha Kathy, the transplanted Rhode Islander consulted Quahog.org and sent me this explanation by Email. Thank you Kathy. So I consulted Quahog.org and this is what it says: Idear All those dropped Rs have to go somewhere. They end up tacked onto the ends of words ending in "A," like idear, bananner, paster, and vaniller.

It is insulting to a Rhode Islander to have his/her accent compared to someone from that state!! Everyone knows that people from little Rhodie speak much better than those from the Bay State.

Z is for Zebra stripes. Marty, we're not at the zoo! Martha, karma for a great Z, and funny thing in one of my posts on the accent thing, I put Kennedy and his "Cuber" pronounciation, and then erased it. and then "there you went" and mentioned it.

But I'm from south of the Mason Dixon-line, so y'all sound the same to me, even after going to college in Vermont! Just another example of "great minds." And thanks for the karma, some of which is coming back to you! ;D

President Kennedy did spent lots of time in Newport with the Bouviers. So, his accent must have been influenced by that.
