When I read books, I'm always impressed by the research an author must do to write. I often wonder if they have researchers working for them. I'm sure they must, as it has to be time consuming to find out information on subjects, places, historical info etc. You seem to know so much about boxing N. so maybe you are married to Australia's Golden Gloves Winner, or you researched a lot about boxing gyms, boxing techniques etc. Whichever it is, I appreciate it. Thanks for another fic, and most especially the visual of Jim on the Speedbag again. Wow!  |

Love it too. Very well written and so in sync with how I imagine Jim would handle a situation like that. I'm also very impressed with the research you do for your fics, Natascha, your fics are always so filled with details, details I would imagine takes you a while to research. What can I say but loved it. The detail is amazing! I could easily imagine Jim avoiding going into new places so he wouldn't stand out, another clue that he hasn't totally "accepted his blindness". It was nice that Gus and the guys at the gym didn't make a big deal about it one way or the other. Now did Gus get the new treadmill as a way to pay Jim back for his help? And Joey. Now here was a guy I thought would have had hip-hop or rock or anything other than country. Shows you never know about a person!
