Actually, it's amazing how many people I've talked to who never have. Most of us didn't know they lived here.

My aunt told me last week that on a long-ago visit to Washington state, they saw an 8-inch slug on a piece of poo (pardon the euphamism, but I choose not to be overtly gross, just remember the story of the kindergardeners who were being taught to not use baby words--

"What'd you do this weekend?"
"I rode a choo-choo."
"No, you rode a train."
"I rode a train."
"Right. And you?"
"I read Winnie the--------")

I do not ever want to see an 8-inch slug!!!!

Now I am not looking for you to mail me any, of course, but I sure do enjoy reading about them.

Are you sure? You could go fishing! I thought of mailing some to my uncle, who was helping fight them with information, and had also never seen one. But I couldn't find an envelope that wouldn't get soggy... And I felt bad for the postman...

And I don't feel one bit bad for the slugs. Fight on!

Wow this is alarming and scary. Instead of a quietly deleted thing it is like in neon lights? It feels really punative and makes me curious about what was such bad content. Does it need to be this way?
