I know this isn't on our TV's but did anyone see the video of the Scottish lady named Susan Boyle on you tube from Britain's got talent? I just loved her! Such a beautiful voice. Talk about judging a book by its cover. It is such a feel good moment to see the judges totally surprised by her audition. I hope she wins and gets her dream... to sing for the Queen. I watched and she is quite amazing! On youtube there is an audio of a song she recorded ten years ago for a charity CD. How come nothing happened to her before? She's certainly a lot better than some of the ones that we hear on the radio! |

She is all over the place. She was on Larry King last night and she said she's going to be on Oprah. She's very nice and I too hope she stays that way and that she handles all this attention well. I think one thing in her favour is her age. No matter what happens on the show, I think she has a future. BTW, Simon's look is priceless! She's fantastic. She's darn lucky too, that the British show doesn't have age limits. Hopefully Canadian Idol and American Idol et al. will wake up and drop the limits. Terrible age discrimination. |

So I got an email from USA network to preview a show that will start on June 4. I bit. It actually looks pretty good -- "Royal Pains." www.usanetwork.com/series/royalpains/Hope they can sustain the plot without going all porn like Nip/Tuck. |
