I was thinking we can't keep calling it the "fall' schedule since its no longer technically fall ;D
Did anyone catch the premiere of Castle last evening? I was a big fan of Firefly so I was excited to see Nathan Fillion back on TV. I liked the daughter but the mom was annoying and the story so-so. Hopefully some chemistry will spark between the characters of writer and cop and liven it up some.

Time for my famous "1 emoticon reviews": Kings Castle Didn't see Kings so can't comment other than to say I just couldn't see it flying very well. I agree with Castle. Last nights ep was much better than the first.

Seeing all the hype about the end of ER and all the past stars coming back, I noticed that RE is not one of them. Why aren't they having Shep make at least a cameo? Show how he got his act together? Perfect opportunity!

Perfect opportunity! I was thinking much the same thing. However, I was thinking that "Shep" would not have gotten his act together, so that RE could use his talent for making us care about flawed characters. Unfortunately, it seems he was on the show too briefly, or too long ago, to be a part of the final season.

Perfect opportunity! Doesn't suprise me that RE is left out....What's new....If he was it would be a great opportunity for RE to get a haircut!

Perhaps he never got over his partner's death, the loss of the love of his life, and went on a downward spiral till he grew his hair and forgot to shave.

Did anyone else watch all three hours -- recap/nostalgia hour and then the new and final two hours -- of ER last night? Most of the time when a great series ends, the finale is a disappointment. I was NOT disappointed. I think they did a great job of sticking with the new, bringing in the old characters (delightful bit with Mark Greene's daughter Rachel), and also referencing the pilot. They started with Carter in the rain and that's the way they ended. I was a little misty-eyed. To be honest? If the last two years had been as well-written as what we saw last night, I don't think the show would have been cancelled. MODIFIED TO ADD:According to my newspaper TV guide, NBC is re-running the two hour finale on Saturday night, for those who might have missed it last night. I'll probably watch it again: it was that satisfying.

I didn't know there was a retrospective on until 10 minutes ago (aproxomately 23 hours too late) nor did I realize it was a 2 hour finale (didn't realize that until 10 minutes ago either). But I did tape tha last hour of the finale and wasn't all that impressed. I haven't been a regular watcher of ER since they killed off Romano (who was my favorite character at the time - I was convinced they were going to kill off Neela- she annoyed me) so I don't really know who the characters are (and I just can't see John Stamos as anything but Uncle Jesse). It was just sad and weird and somehow beautiful. I'll try to watch the whole thing Saturday. Anybody know if the retrospective willbe aired again?

Did anyone see "Parks and Recreation" this week. It takes place in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. There are not that many ditsy people in Indiana, I swear!!! Its not that we don't have our fair share of characters but I would like to think we are more like the one played by Rashida Jones. And we do have a lot of city parks. I was in Terre Haute yesterday so I tried to really look at them. Everyone oddball piece of city property that can not be used for anything else has a mini park. They are beautiful this time of year with the flowering trees and flowers so I would consider it money well spent. And by the way, the state flag and seal are correct. Finally! ;D

I know this isn't on our TV's but did anyone see the video of the Scottish lady named Susan Boyle on you tube from Britain's got talent? I just loved her! Such a beautiful voice. Talk about judging a book by its cover. It is such a feel good moment to see the judges totally surprised by her audition. I hope she wins and gets her dream... to sing for the Queen.

I watched and she is quite amazing! On youtube there is an audio of a song she recorded ten years ago for a charity CD. Here is the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXwc-i5eYdUIt should be interesting to see what comes out of her appearance on Britain's Got Talent.

Wow! This lady is so amazing. I want to cry every time I watch her. It is the best thing I have seen in years. It gives me faith about regular people. I hope she stays as sweet and untouched as she is right now. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PPlkOyaqaQ

She is all over the place. She was on Larry King last night and she said she's going to be on Oprah. She's very nice and I too hope she stays that way and that she handles all this attention well. I think one thing in her favour is her age. No matter what happens on the show, I think she has a future. BTW, Simon's look is priceless!
